Skin Pack: - Massive thanks to Hugh for doing the skin pack/patch, Timaru Update and every ones numbers and name on the windows.
Custom skins will be used.
Templates and the AE86 mod http://www.rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?ID=AE86%20CLUB
KSR / InSPire window banner and window numbers + names will be added to your skins for you. No need to skin the windows, just the body.
I know some of you are not able to do your own skins, and everyone else is busy on their own, so we'll allow the use of default skins from the game, but you will need to send Hugh Jarse a pm with the car you want to use, your name on the points site and the 3 digit race number.
So, if you haven't sent Hugh a pm requesting a car with your details, or sent in a custom skin, you will be stuck with a 30L tank in a default car, and not be able to go the full race distance in some of the races.Hugh Jarse wrote:
There will be a NZRFL14 category in the mod .... we will pick ae86 blah blah_NZRFL14 mod. You can run the original mods car with it, but they will get a 30L tank not a 60L.
The guys that picked/reserved original mod skins that I have added ... will get 60L.
Anyone trying to race without the skinpacked cars gets 30L ... But would still have to have skinpack installed.
This is done to keep the original mods files intact
maybe we should make the aliens drive the 30L tanks cars .... :P
Window Example
Skins and default requests should be in by Thursday 8th April. Please email skins (vehicle dds files + veh file) to: kiwi12@hotmail.com
NOTE: No late skins will be accepted, you have plenty of time so get cracking!
Doing your .veh file (Changes Highlighted) - Thanks Hugh
We will run a test nights for everyone to test the skins online on the 12th and 13th.
If you need help with skinning please post.

Track Updates
Track Update 1: http://files.ksr.net.nz/users/HughJarse ... PDATE1.rar
It is recommended that you delete any test or WIP cars (after backing up) to avoid issues once the skin pack is done.
If you (or a team) want to run a default skin from the game pm Hugh Jarse with the one you want, your name (or names) used to sign up to the points site, and the 3 digit number you're (and team mates) racing with.
This is on a 1st come basis, one default skin per team/person. So get in quick
RESERVED DEFAULT SKINS
TOMS Castrol - SlyKiwi
#9 Marlboro - Dammit (Team Car)
Team BOSS - Fatbear
Teams:
Optional teams. Up to 3 drivers per team. It is preferred that team cars have coordinated custom skins.
Driver Etiquette
The usual, e.g.
It is the passing cars responsibility to make the pass cleanly and without contact. Without a 50% overlap it isn't a passing move, it is a dive-bomb.
The car being passed must give a much room as is realistic.
Defending your line on a straight is OK, but in one direction only.
Attempt to keep two wheels on the racing surface (the marked, paved race track) at all times.
You should not improve your position by using non racing surfaces.
Headlights never need to be on.
Save any post race celebration driving antics until several corners past the finish line.
No text chat during Qual, or while racing.
Protests
Protests will be looked at. Please feel free to make them in an adult manner.
Submit the lap and time that the incident occurred on. Crash Committee members will decide who was at fault. You are not to lay blame if you wish your penalty to have effect. Offensive behavior by other drivers that does not have a direct effect on you can still be submitted. Please remember, if it does not show up on the replay or a video is not available, it is almost impossible for the Crash Committee to make a ruling.
Protests must be submitted by 8PM the Thursday after the races.
Drivers who feel they have been unfairly penalized have the right to request to an appeal. They are to use the protest email address below.
Send protests to: riftcreator@hotmail.com
When lodging protests please keep the protest detail to a minimum. Track, Race #, time, and who is involved are all that is required.
Please do not submit a detailed story as the CC will be able to determine the cause. Use your forum + driver name when submitting protests.
Protests will be ignored if not submitted via: riftcreator@hotmail.com or if incorrect details are submitted.
Penalties
Penalties will be issued out in a form of loss of either race grid positions, series points or loose the ability to join the next race depending on the severity of the penalty.

Teamspeak:
Use of teamspeak is recommended, at least in listening mode. Server details here: http://www.kiwisimracing.net.nz/forum/v ... php?t=6872. You will need to p.m. Inspector for an account if you do not have one.
Points site / sign-ups:
Sign up at the usual points site http://points.kiwisimracing.net.nz. Follow the instructions and post back here if it all gets too hard. Once you've done that, join the AE86 Club league.
NOTE: Use a 3 digit number, not starting with zero. Drivers from previous Tuesday night leagues have first pick on their numbers (check the points site).
Limit 42 entries, so don't bugger around or you'll miss out.
This post will be updated with any changes made, so please check regularly for important updates.
