Re: Obutto oZone gaming cockpits
At the moment your best bet is to get one of Brendons cockpits - thats a bloody awesome deal he's offering
Plus I have no plans to ship to Aussie
The seats/frames in the top pic probably won't arrive until late october/ early november, and I won't know the exact price untill they land. I then have to see what discount the boss (wife) lets me pass on to you guys
The seats in the bottom pics are in prototype stage at the moment so will probably undergo changes. I should have the first one back from the powdercoaters this week. I have another couple of designs up my sleeve as well. The goal is to have something that can be used with or without a monitor, won't look out of place in the living room, and I will be able to offer a full system either PS3/Xbox or PC with wheel, speakers etc. Oh and any colour as long as its black, seats can be black or red

Re: Obutto oZone gaming cockpits
I have some Aussie freight costs coming through next week. I will PM you the details and see if you are keen. Currently have a number of people wanting them to go to the Gold Coast so moving them in bulk should work out to be a bit cheaper.PGRULER wrote: Dude how much to get over to the the gold coast?

They have arrived in the country and are currently sitting with Customs. There was a slight delay as the ship was 2 days late but am expecting to be told that they are ready to be delivered any time soon. I will send out some PM's to those that have ordered as soon as I have a despatch date and/or they are ready to collect for those Auckland based guys

they do look much better than my home built job, but for $45 all up Im not complaining, whatever works right?
Only thing I prefer over the seats that Noddy is selling is top mounted pedals (thanks for that idea Hep)
If you have a G25 and are using it in a frame, I'd suggest the Nixim pedal mod (google it), which gives a more real feel to the brake pedal.
It's just a block of rubber, but apparently the type of rubber is what counts to give a progressive feel..and at $NZ18 its the best and cheapest mod you can do to the G25
All you need to do is undo the screws, place in the block and put it back together again. very simple.

Re: Obutto oZone gaming cockpits
Yeah Tim contacted us back in November wanting to try one out. At the time we wondered if it was someone trying a scam on, as we had never heard of Tim Wheatly, but after a phone call to iracing they confirmed it was legit. So one was shipped directly from the States to him.
I thought his review was only meant for the iracing forum, but I see he has posted it in a few different places today, so that's good

If you made a list of the 10 most important people in the sim racing world, Tim Wheatley would be there. Ever heard of RaceSimCentral.com (RSC) ?

I have always related RSC to Mikkel Gram-Hansen and if I was making a list, to be honest Tim would not make my top 10. Could be a good thread though to find out peoples top 10
