Individual League Round Three Sign Up

Yes, its back. 
Sign up here to compete in the third round of individual league for 2009. There have been a couple of minor changes to the last round - the first is that there will be only six weeks, rather than seven, for the league; and the second is that instead of accumulating points over all six weeks, only your top five point hauls contribute towards your final total. That means that if you miss a week, or have a bad performance in one week, you could still potentially win the league. As with rounds one and two of individual league you will receive automatic entry into the end of round event, the North Island Champs.
Format
This round will see a 4 race format - 3 x 12 lap heats with pre-determined grids and 1 x 25 lap feature which will be double points. Although the server only allows 13 lap races, we will race for 12 laps with the first lap being used for a slow lap, which you should use to form grid positions before properly gridding up the next time you pass the start/finish line.
Points
Points will be allocated 20 for 1st, 19 for 2nd and so on. The feature will be double points. Note that there will not be a seperate table for feature points this year.
Grids
We will go with proper grids for the heats and AI grids for the feaure. I have the SNZ program for doing three heat grids. However, your first grid will be done using the website http://www.random.org/lists/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - I will enter everybody in your group and will randomise to give you your first grid for the night. This order will be put into the system and the program will generate your grids for the next two heats.
Groups
There will be two groups each week, at 7.15pm and 8.15pm. Groupings for week one will be done using the same randomiser as the grids. Everyones name will go down and I will randomise once. First name group 1, second group 2, etc. From week 2 onwards, first on points is in group 1, second on points in group 2, etc. If you need to be in a specific group for personal/work reasons you need to pm me before Saturday at 6pm.
Teamspeak
You need to be on teamspeak 15 minutes before your racing is due to start for a quick briefing - 7.15pm for the 7.30pm group and 8.15pm for the 8.30pm group. This is essential as you will miss getting the password to race for the night if you are not on teamspeak.
General Rules
*All drivers will line up for standing starts in pre-determined grids for the 3 x 12 lap races. AI grids are used for the feature. Gridding will be done in a respectable manner.
*Hitting of stationary cars [with the intention of damaging them] is strictly forbidden.
*Deliberate right turning to attack another car from a stationary or non-stationary position is not tolerated.
*All drivers will take care not to pull out in front of oncoming traffic when turning around.
*Cutting of the grass is also forbidden (drivers putting more than one wheel onto the grass to attack another driver).
*There is to be no waiting for intentional blocking of any car at anytime.
*Running a car full steam off the straight will not be tolerated.
*There will be no talking during racing.
*No wall riding (using wall to get around the corner).
*All racing will be in an anti-clockwise direction.
*There will be no abuse of any member at any time - while in servers, forums, TeamSpeak, MSN, etc.
*Space barring off the wall is forbidden.
*Broken Wheels / Blowen engine - During the race if either of these happen to you, you MUST pull the track right away and remain in that spot and will be given a DNF, unless you have taken the white flag and then sustain damage, in which case you may continue to finish the race.
*Braking on the grid at the start of races is strictly forbidden.
Feature Rules
For the first 13 laps, under the rules as above. After the leader has completed his 13th lap, teams rules are applicable with one exception - if you break a wheel you must still pull off, unless on the last lap.
Protests
All races will be controlled by an admin member (most likely the individual league director) who will also be the protest referee. Protest to be sent via email To Ksr_Heat_Indi_Protests@hotmail.com before midnight on Sunday with a detailed description of what happened eg. race, lap, cars involved. If I am not present, also include a replay.
Complaints
If you have a complaint about points, other drivers, etc, please send a pm to the individual league director.
Penalties for breaking rules
1st offence will be exclusion from that race and/or nights' points
2nd offence will be exclusion from that race and/or nights' points and suspended for one week(this includes a week suspension of Teams League if raced)
3rd offence you will be dropped from the league (this includes Teams league if raced)
Sign In
You are to sign in no later than 6pm on Saturday. Groups will then be put up shortly after this point.
