Try not to refer to the records to see each others lap times etc as when you have a race on single player you can get on the records. So if you wallride offline in a proper race and get a fast lap it will probably show up in the records list lol :B

Palmy - aim for 17.4s
Temarua - aim for 16.4s
Wanganui - aim to get 16.6s
Waikaraka - aim for mid 16s

If you can consistently run these times or even run faster than these youll get up the ranks. Then start working on dodging traffic and reading the race. I think those times are about right but havnt been on for a while so you guys may be smashing them ;)

And to add to that, If you join the race online while a spectator some cars do Rediculas lap times like 7.45seconds and stuff,

51.791 average speed around palmy means averaging about 17.370 per lap... including the in lap which is generally half a second slower than average
51.671 is just over 17.4 per lap :I

given the right circumstances I have seen plenty of people do consistently under 17.4 including racing_hart, rhart_jnr, mini41a, ministock6n, etc etc etc... of course as soon as you add someone blocking that average goes out the window... but consistent laps are what was being talked about here was it not?

lap times i think is not so important as consistency is, so many times i have seen a fast lap time (which is normally Uturn or Buzz) but they don't always win.I can normally get around Palmy 17.4 to 17.6s consistence.the lines you take on any given track will make a big difference to lap times.what i did was follow one or two of the faster drivers and tried to stay with them without hitting them learned there lines and my lap times dropped heaps,At Wanganui the fastest time i could do was 16,7s but the after night i followed Toonz and did 16.3s and .4s lol still didn't win but lol fast stockcar drivers do need brakes.
