Re: running stock car heat
is this where it is installed?
C:\Program Files\Hasbro Interactive\NASCAR Heat\stockcar08
did you install nascar heat essentials first? before the stockcar08 install?

When you go to open the game right click on the shortcut- run as administrator and approve of it then it should work
Hope this helps

Hi Dylan
One of the quickest possible fixes you could do would be to upgrade your PC to Windows 7. We had all sorts of weird issues trying to run Stockcar Heat on Vista. Any other unrelated problems you may be having will possibly also disappear once you have converted. Your PC will also run faster and more efficiently I'm sure. If you click on 'START' then 'CONTROL PANEL' then 'System and Security' then 'See the name of this computer' it will tell you which version of Vista you have i.e 'Home premium' or 'Ultimate' etc and also whether it is 32-bit or 64-bit. You can then make sure you purchase the correct upgrade version.
Regards
Dale

Re: running stock car heat
hope this makes sense..
right click and run as adminstrator
Push enter untill it opens up stockcar heat 08 and then a tab will come up down the bottom of the screen make sure that tab is selected and hit enter, this should open up your game.
