that sounds like a permissions issue to me brad. The game writes a results file at the end of each race and if it cant it crashes. could also explain why it doesnt show up in game. Is that vista or seven you are running?

You could try following these simple instructions ( click here ) or get a bigger hammer :clown:

If what uturn has suggested doesn't work. Try adding the woodfordglen.trk file into your Stockcar08 folder as well.

another issue

it is quite difficult to get damage.

I have just tested another version on the server and didnt make it two laps without losing a wheel and then the people testing took out the other wheel before the end of the race so its nearly fixed.

this will be addressed and the new version uploaded.

don't panic, nothing about the track or the way you drive it will change except the kamakaze runs into the wall so your hard work to get fast sets is not a waste of time :clown:

thanks for the feedback guys keep it coming _b _b _b

Have you installed Stockcar Heat to a different directory? EG a different hard drive, or different folder?

Right click on the shortcut you have for your game, go to Open File Location, and then add the trk file to the run folder in that directory.

Also run as administrator.

my consultant said they were about streety roof height but didnt say how high the roof was at the time. ;p

if someone could get an actual measurement of the wall height in metres I would change it.

The wall is very different as far as heat tracks go and is why the damage is not working as it should. Hopefully it will be sorted by Wednesday-ish so if you have a tape measure and a tardis handy ty... jump over and let me know how high it is while I'm fixing it :)

The wall height is about right, it is quite considerably higher then some other tracks around the country. Its up to about the drivers helmet in a stockcar/roofline of a streetstock as uturn already said.
