bought a tired calais turbo motor, re-built the turbo & run it through a link computer.
Running pretty low boost but got torque to burn.
All Hold ons should be burnt
That would definatly make Bathurst a boreing race then aye ...
At the end of the day it dosent matter what you drive as long as YOU are happy with it that should get a few bites

It was a case of haveing to ford as we couldnt fit the stocky body & bonnet into the boot of my old coon So we had to use YOUR hold on haha

In my shed ATM is a Factory VL2 calais304/8, a VK GTS efi202, a HQ 202 belmont standard, and wait for it a HSV LIMO that sits 8!!!

Had a qwik look thru my VL parts catalog book (600+ pages with all part numbers and codes )and Holden did produce turbo wagons in early 1988. @ least 56 being TURBO Calais wagons . These were all based on the series 2 vl and only were available in maroon over silver or dark blue over silver. These can be identifyed by the option code A9Y. Still lookn thru codes to findout how many TURBO wagons in total were built ( Enter result here, Not counting the ultra rear HDT option wagon, if you ticked all the right option when you ordered your car ) Heres what the calais wagons looked like

My wagon was originally maroon over silver but I didn't like the two tone so I had this colour made & painted it last Xmas.

Only thing betta than a holden up your drive is two or three aye Fireball
Seen them scattered around your place, oh & big Val of course.
Used to have a FZR1000 & a CR250 but had to give the bikes up....... went everywhere on the back wheel which was threatening my life expectancy
