Localish (Aussie) link to demo: http://www.ausgamers.com/files/details/html/39844
Also make sure you go register a account at CallOfDuty.com which gives you a key to play the demo. Something they are adding to help keep track of friends, progress, etc.

Re: COD5
Well if I can get on a server I will post up my opinion etc,
Im having lots of problems with this beta as a lot are by the sounds of things.
If anyone comes across a solution to
"Error
Unable to connect. Duplicate qport on server"
when trying to connect to a server
please let me know.

Re: COD5
If I could open the game, I would try to see if I could get in a server.
Game launches, splash screen goes away, small 800x600 window appears in top left corner of screen then then has to close - send, don't send message appears followed by:
Error during initialization:
Unhandled exception caught

Re: COD5
sounds like a sound thing as this is the vista fix .. apparently
FOR VISTA!!!
The fix to this issue try this:
1- Go to Control Panel
2- The click on "Hardware and Sound"
3- Click on "Sound"
4- Doble click on "speakers"
5- go to the Advanced tab
6- Set the default format to "24 Bit, 48000 Hz (Studio Quality)"
7- Thats it!
Don't know for xp though, I am looking through on callofduty.com

Re: COD5
My fix was installing some DirectX optional components:
http://download.microsoft.com/download/1/7/1/1718ccc4-6315-4d8e-9543-8e28a4e18c4c/dxwebsetup.exe
Game is just multiplayer Growler.
