COD WAW Half price on steam!

Post by Bold » Sat May 16, 2009 11:43 am

The weekend steam sale this week is Call of duty World at War, down to $24.95USD ~ $43NZ.

I'm quite tempted to buy it myself at this price.

Is it worth while? Is the single player as good as Cod 4? Are people still playing it online? and how big is the download likely to be? I have a fair amount of room in my data cap at the moment, but some games can be awfully large..

In my opinion the story mode is better in World at War. It shows a darker and more realistic side of WW2 that none of the other call of duty games I feel have produced. Modern Warfare's story is good, but World at War is just that much better :)

I agree I have enjoyed what little single player on world at war that Ive played more than the entire cod4 one, its less spam spam. etc I prefer that.

Ya Zombies are good with 2 different maps and game play strategy. I can only play zombies for an hour max though... it's like playing 2 hours of Death Match 8o

Campaign is good and you can play it co-op if you want. MP is standard with rank ups and perks lah lah lah.
