Well I downloaded the MOH Beta. Looks really crap, That cloudy shiny stuff. Not for me, maybe that was just from running at medium settings on my computer I'm not sure.

After spending 30minutes trying to find out why whenever I spawned my character would just run forward and not stop running forward. It ended up being this stupid axis controller that you could use as well as the conventional "w" button. But here's the best part... YOU CAN'T TURN IT OFF!!! I ended up having to change the axis to that of my steering wheel because you also cant toggle that to a non setting or another button it had to be an axis.

So I got that sorted finally could get into some gaming! So I spawned and then died within a few seconds. So I quickly got back into the game again wanting to seek some revenge. But as soon as I spawned again I died... This happened four times in succession before I was spawned further back from the action. But then the game ended. So I tried to go another game, the transition between games was smooth I stayed in the same server etc took the best part of 30seconds for the next game to start (awesome!). I started the next game got to a nice spot where I could see the other team coming out of their spawn. I had a sniper rifle and knocked a couple of rounds off straight at some people. Not only did it not kill them but it didn't even hit them, After a while I found myself starting to kill them, I had to aim in front of them to compensate for the lag. Horrible lag, although I could see the characters moving some what smoothly.

Maybe others will have different experience's. But I wont even play it again on Beta, and most certainly will be getting Black Ops. _b

you were using your controller on moh?.... fps = mouse is way easier once you learn to aim.

Have heard quite a few negatives about moh, black ops is just the usual winging but I think it has the potential to be good if they support/patch it right.

Ive always unplugged my steering wheel/controller when playing any game as there is a lot they interfere with.

Tbh the BC2 beta wasn't that flash either, but it turned out great.

MoH is just a tide over for EA until BF3 is released next year. Its basically BC2 on smaller maps. TBH I think half the maps on BC2 are a bit small how it is so don't know how MoH will fare.

Black Ops looks like everything MW2 could have been. Will get just so I can say Ive played it, I doubt it will take over from BC2 for me though. Looks like theres far too much going on and aimed at kids with all the big headshot scores kill assist etc etc being splashed all over the screen etc. If theres mod support for it though it could turn out as great as CoD4 was

That's the thing, I use mouse and keyboard. Had every wheel or any kind of controller unplugged yet some unknown axis was making me strafe forward. I only got it sorted when I reset the axis as one of the wheel one's when I plugged it back in.

The way I look at it. MW2 was Black Op's Beta. As far as Beta's go it's pretty decent.

MW2 was shit. It wasn't even beta worthy :larf:

Gotta remember though bryce that World At War was just an updated Modern Warfare, and they added a whole bunch of stuff but it didn't really end up any better. Hopefully this time it will be, but never know until the games released. They seem to be adding a lot of stuff which is cool, as long as their not covering up sloppy/poor gameplay etc with it

Is there a place cheaper than Mighty Ape to pre-order this from (cheaper than $109.99)?

CDWow, or if you're getting PC version just import it from overseas if your that tight on money, can get most games around 70$ NZ if you can wait a couple weeks to get it.

Thanks Aaron. Forgot Playtech actually sell games. (:

Nah not tight on money Pluck, just I thought there'd be a better pre-order deal than just $10 off the RRP.

RRP is $149.99 so its $40 off. Like MW2 though most places don't charge as much as the full RRP.

na nothing like that im having a problem somewhere and everytime I think I have sorted it it comes back, all that's really left is a hardware fault somewhere. It will be fine once my exams are over and I don't need PC on everyday.
