Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare™ 1.5 Patch

DESCRIPTION:

This is the release of the v1.5 Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare™ patch by Infinity Ward.

CHANGES:


Fixed server browser not showing all of the servers

The "hold [ ] to steady" sniper scope hint will only appear if you can use it

Fixed game not recognizing IWDs existing if they are all in fs_basepath and none are in the main/ folder

Made mod scripts able to change stats

Allow developer_script for mulitiplayer modding

Fixed map rotation errors with usermaps

Fix for reloading several times after connecting to a modded server

Fixed minimap not showing up in the menu for usermaps

Fixed an issue with Http redirect downloads.

Mod tools will now work with other languages


NOTE: patch 1.5 is not compatible with 1.4. You will not be able to find 1.4 servers if you update.

NOTE: Please ensure you have previously downloaded 1.4 patch before downloading 1.5 as you will need the 'Winter Crash' map from 1.4.

INSTALLATION:

Download the file below

Run the installer and make sure its pointed to the installation folder for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare™

File name: CoD4MW-1.5-PatchSetup.exe
File size: 10.65 MB

Note that you have to patch to 1.4 then to 1.5 if you want the Winter_Crash map (or just copy the file over I guess)

Agreed.. I recommend that everyone do a manual install of the latest PB... I was having PB issues after installing the 1.5 patch.

Always back up your profile.... just in case

All the problems I have had in setting up a modded server seems to have been fixed with this new patch

Riven has done KSR server and will get around to doing Inspire server soonish.

I've always been the last to patch anything, not because I'm s l o w , it's just that I hate throwing something in only to find I can't play. Happened too often for me on BF1942 to ever make me happy about patching again.
