Richard Burns Rally Comp Anyone?

Post by Blenderer » Mon Nov 16, 2009 3:53 pm

Hi all,

Does anyone around here still have a run on Richard Burns Rally once is a while? I was wondering if there would be any interest in a short fun RBR competition. Maybe we could choose a Rally and complete a stage a week with everyone posting screenies of their time for that stage and we can keep a running 'Total Time' to find a winner once all stages are complete.

Just a bit of fun leading up to Christmas with people been able to complete the stage each week whenever they find the time. Obviously you could do the stage as many times as you wanted to come up with your best possible time. :)

Anyone interested?

Is that the RBR 2009 addon Growler? I downloaded that last week and it was actually the reason I started playing this again. Very cool.

My thoughts are that we should maybe use just the original cars and tracks for this first rally so there isn't to much mucking around for those that don't have the addon and if there is enough interest to run another event then maybe look at running some of the RBR 2009 stuff then. However if people would rather run the 09 addon for this then I'm keen either way.

My suggestion would be to run the Great Britain Rally, starting at the first stage and making our way through each week.

I've moved this to the Motor Racing Forum in the hope that there might be some more interest here. :)

Check these guys out. :D
