Historix - Trans Am Series
I can so see this as a future league...
The once popular American racing series will play a major role in the upcoming mod as the team has already revealed several Trans-Am cars such as the Chevrolet Camaro and the Dodge Challenger. The new previews reveal both a brand new car, the Plymouth Barracuda, as well as alternate models of the Camaro in different liveries.

HistorX forum here: http://historicgt.8.forumer.com/
Some good real life Trans-am tracks, some we have raced at KSR (Laguna Seca, Lime Rock, Mid Ohio etc), some others I have used and enjoyed in GPL but IIRC we haven't used in rF here yet (St Jovite / Mt Tremblant and Riverside ). Riverside main straight and final turn should be great in these cars!

Re: Historix - Trans Am Series
I piddled around at the website but couldn't see any possible dates for the release. Anyone see anything related?
This looks like it will provide a lot of racing and a heap of fun for the next year or more.

I don't expect it to be released any time soon. Appraently there is still quite a bit of work to do.WMS-Old Frt wrote:I piddled around at the website but couldn't see any possible dates for the release. Anyone see anything related?

I'm sure these would be a mission in rFactor 2 - 600 odd hp in the rain!

rF2 is going to bring a whole new exciting format to endurance racing. It's something I can't wait to experiance. Although Growler has a good point, 600hp in the rain is going to be

As with any mod group, we can not confirm a release date, which is better than writing "SOON"WMS-Old Frt wrote:I piddled around at the website but couldn't see any possible dates for the release. Anyone see anything related?

Thanks for the responses guys
I use Evo as well as rFactor, so the hope for rF2 I have is the best of both worlds PLUS some.
After a few FVR V8 rounds in Evo with rain I can say flooded tracks with heavy rain is an eye opener for sure!!

That takes me back to being a boy and drooling over an AMX Javelin that drove past my bustop every afternoon.
Looking forward to these cars

Re: Historix - Trans Am Series
So lets take a car that's hard to handle in the best conditions and put it on a wet track with real tire wear and damage..and call it fun, I don't think so A mission yes but Fun, I doubt it.Growler wrote:I don't expect it to be released any time soon.
