Waiting on my password to be sent by Adrenaline since last night so I can log in and download.
Unless someone knows of another source/download link?

I got it.

The models are great, and Templates are easy to work with, and, give plenty of detailing opportunity for the painters.

Driving them wasn't what I expected until I realised they do run modern springs, shocks and wheels/tyres which gives good grip almost all the time. The fun is in finding how hard to push them.

I've done two WIP skins so far. The second is a HQ GTS Monaro clone....

Edit to show final skin..

And my own 70's style racer..

Dementia... isn't a Hollywood fantasy movie starring Mickey Mouse, apparently.

Got it tonight, and have had a look, yet to have a drive though.

Impressed with the skins, and the body model _b _b The cockpit leaves a lot to be desired and obviouly wasn't an area of concern or major importance. Shame realy as it lets the quality of the mod down.

Will have a play this weekend.

I agree Rifty, the interior is a big let-down and not very professional looking at all. But, I didn't notice it so much when throwing the old girl around Oran Park LiDar :D

I had a drive around Watkins Glen and man were they slow after driving DRM.

I had to keep telling myslf that they are a 30+ year old car!

Very closing racing with the AI though.

Found that you can take them way past red line in each gear although it didn't make them any faster.

The Adrenalin Factor website is down at the moment. The ISP is having problems.

I used to own a HQ, had a factory 4spd and water injection, went like a shower of $#&!, for a HQ anyway :larf:

This is gonna be a fun mod, I reckon there will be as much carnage online as in real life HQ racing, especially with full grids _b

Had some fun races last night with about 15 others at Sandown. These cars get some good slipstream down the straights which allows 2-3 wide into the corners. They are pretty forgiving and loads of fun when dicing with others.

Is anyone finding this mod to be an FPS Pig when doing offline races? Mine are dropping well below what I'm used to with this 6 month old graphics card.. and plenty of jittery-ness at race start too.

I have only used it online and have not experienced any problems like I do with the V8 mod. Sometimes I find that FPS issues are track related.

Theres no Lod levels with this mod Oldie, hence the bad frames..Im not rating this mod very highly at the moment, does not feel connected to the track at all.

Thanks Hugh.

And yes, I thought they felt "airy".. wasn't sure if that was modern springs and wheels/tyres or not. Needs polishing before it could be used for a league anywhere, I think.
