you could always look at cable ties.

I used them when I did data cabling in building. Grab the bunch that is coming from the mointor etc and group them together and tie to the back pole of the racing frame (where you have them looped around). Place a tie around the cables every 150mm.

This way if you have to get to a cable you can track it back.

Have a look here: http://www.ehow.com/how_7481099_tie-wire-cable.html

I've used cable ties Jonny, most effective way. I'm now running triple screens on the Obutto, and the extra cables were really messy, so out with the cable ties and it's all hidden away now.

Now I have to work out what to do for speaker mounts.

ps. Glad you've mad use of the speaker stands I gave you :D _b

I did yeah. It was a cheap option for now. it's good, but not as clear, or as high res as what eyefinity would be.

I'm a lot slower with them though. Was doing 1:04.4 around Wanaroo in the Skoda, now in the 1:06's. Will take time to get it setup right, and to get used to it.

Got some teething issues, but working through them.

I'd take some shots but we've lost the Camera cable, so can't get the pics off it. Will use my cell when it's not so dark.

Basically the cables run down the back of the frame work, hidden from view. And every 150mm I have used a black cable tie, then trimmed off the excess.

I've use that plastic shrink wrap stuff you can purchase from most supercheap stores at cheap prices for most of my wires. It was much easier to make little looms with it and only have a couple of larger sets than heaps of little ones. It doesn't clean up the mess at the back of the pc, but for the rest of the sim, it's much more user-friendly.

Yeah, when I first did my sim I used cable sheathing (I think it's Narva stuff), however I seem to always be adding and changing things and after you take out one of the cables from the sheathing the other tangled ones end up needing to come out as well :larf: I never got around to putting it all back together neatly, at the moment I just have a huge tangle of wires!!!

Although it's nothing compared to the back of the home theatre system and TV!!!

You can use the monitor mount poles to wrap your monitor cables and power cabes around, probably wobn't need to be cablke ties, I have my triple done that way and it works well.

I also run the wheel cables around the wheel base pole and I have all of my power right at the front of the cockpit sort of under the pedal tray.

Any wires I have going to the back of the cockpit(ButtKicker and headphones) I cable tie to the bottom side rail. I also got a 4 port USB hub and mounted that on the top bolt holder thingimy where the front and the rear sub sections bolt together. I use this to plug in my mouse and keyboard, so I don't have long cables going back to my PC

It all ends up pretty tidy :)
