Interesting news on Project CARS below.

'Slightly Mad Studios are proud to announce that crowd-powered, AAA racing title Project CARS will be coming to three further gaming platforms in 2014.
Both Sony’s PlayStation 4 and Microsoft’s Xbox One consoles will see Project CARS racing onto them during 2014 as gaming enters the next generation with new benchmarks of graphical fidelity and technical power becoming possible and Project CARS aiming to set a new standard for virtual racing for motorsports and car fans around the world.
Furthermore, Project CARS will also be coming to Valve’s Steam OS, extending an existing partnership with Steam that has already allowed tens of thousands of WMD members the ability to download and play builds of the game during its development and allow specific multiplayer and social features that are only possible using this unique platform.'

Hmm, I will have to check that my pcars is up to date and give it a whirl.

Looking at it though, it didn't look like he was driving a wet lap, that was a soaking wet lap but the car seemed to handle similar to a dry lap so it will be interesting to try it first hand,.

With the amount of standing water on the track, I would recommend they redo the track so it drains off better :larf:

I gave it a go, I didnt put on any tires other than the default and it was fairly slippery under power. I guess the guy just did a smooth lap in the rain and wasn't pushing it, I would normally expect to see a bit of sliding and counter steering in the wet so it seems he just did an easy lap.

It was pretty good in the rift, the rain weather looks convincing but the rain on the helmet doesnt match the speed you are going.

Its a DLC from SMS Matt and pretty good.. theres a shot looking back to The Rock Sweeper in the banners.
There was also talk of v8 supertourers, sms was given loads of detailed info, but that thread has gone cold.. but who knows..
