Is AC the next base for KSR ?
Seems to have all the right properties - Community mods, easy to handle, looks nice, ok framerates. only thing i'm not sure about is the netcode, i've done a few online races with europe warping and collisions have been interesting to say the least.
I-Racing is prohibitively expensive

I never got into I-Racing - it just didn't have the same feel/connection between user and the car.
Haven't tried AC yet, but if and when KSR moves onto another Sim I will be sure to pick up whatever is decided on.

Re: Is AC the next base for KSR ?
I've played with AC offline over Xmas and have enjoyed it.
It's something worth considering as there isn't really much else that is league ready.
It may effect some who can't run the program though so some careful consideration will be required.
Amazingly, rF1 still has legs and with the mods that Hugh delivers, it is hard to move fully to another platform.
Maybe a few one off events to start with?? (This is my opinion and not the admins)

Hi guys,
I'm new to the boards but have put 50+ hours into AC. Online is still a WIP but overall, it is a great sim. I think a few one ooff events would be the way to go to test it out.

I'm in for some AC as well....I find rfactor a bit less interesting since playing AC......which kind of sucks cause I use to LOVE rfactor....and using the NZ tracks to practice on was very helpful.

I have to say that AC is thunderously good fun. The FFB is light years ahead of what I can coax out of my TM 300RS in rFactor. It's awesome to be able to feel the track properly.

I´ve tried and the ffb feels horrible, I should try to change something.kerryland wrote:I have to say that AC is thunderously good fun. The FFB is light years ahead of what I can coax out of my TM 300RS in rFactor. It's awesome to be able to feel the track properly.

I'd guess yes :-)Gamuz wrote:I´ve tried and the ffb feels horrible, I should try to change something.kerryland wrote:I have to say that AC is thunderously good fun. The FFB is light years ahead of what I can coax out of my TM 300RS in rFactor. It's awesome to be able to feel the track properly.
What wheel do you have? I can share my T300RS settings if you've got one of them.

I have a G27 and it feels worst than RF1 but I guess that I'll need to try a bit more.kerryland wrote:I'd guess yes :-)Gamuz wrote:I´ve tried and the ffb feels horrible, I should try to change something.kerryland wrote:I have to say that AC is thunderously good fun. I found that you did need to muck with the settings. Mostly to turn things down. I had it running on my G27 pretty well
