Re: PC2 NZ Championship
Race 1 was eventfull to say the least. tarted 5th. Got a Growler type start and was up to 2nd going into turn 1. Got Bumped off and dropped to last. Then then made a few passes to get back to 3rd where I was fighting for 2nd but put 2 wheels on the grass and spun back to 6th then got back to 5th.Yoda_NZ wrote:Good work in that second race tonight. Race 2....... well that was good apart from my spotter calling clear on lap 1 and me moving over and taking out the pack.

Re: PC2 NZ Championship
Race 1 at Brands hatch Indy had to be restarted after someone dropped. This meant that there was a random Grid. I started dead last but by the end of lap 2 I was up too 2nd with out passing anyone. Everyone just keep taking each other out. Then about lap 4 I threw it up the inside of the leader in too Druids to take the lead. I started doing qually laps as there was rain coming. Pitted for wets on the perfect lap and drove away from the pack finishing 10 seconds up.Yoda_NZ wrote:Let’s go for the spoiler that way I can watch the new one on Tuesday
Race 2..... not as good as race 1. Spun twice and burnt up the tyres, ended up 5th.

Your first win, awesome. I assume Penny is still leading the points then. He is going to be hard to peg back

Great driving! Was getting tired of them saying you have speed over 1 lap. That showed them. Well done.

Re: PC2 NZ Championship
Last week didn't go so well finished 5th in R1 and 7th in R2. R1 was just a mistake by me and R2 got screwed by a glitch.Yoda_NZ wrote:So what happened this week?

This week went well. Spun on the opening lap of Spa. Droped to 6th but got back to 2nd. Bruno was race 2. Lead all but a 1/4 of a lap but had to fight the whole way defending the whole race. McQueen thought he was driving a NASCAR and unloaded me on the last turn with 2 laps to go but he made a mistake at turn 1 and drive around the outside of turn 2 to get the lead back.

I guess that wraps it up for Penne to take it out then. Is there any more this week?
I’m back in country now so should be able to watch it live.
On a good note I was able to take my KiwiSim driving skills and take out the hot lap challenge at a conference. Interestingly they used a CXC motion based simulator. That was good fun
