F1 Challenge V8 Supercars Mod
Download the V8 Supercars Mod
Time - Practice starts at 8.30pm. Qualify at 9.00pm (approx)
Track - Laguna Seca - Download it from Here and extract it to your hard drive into your tracks folder in F1C

Ventrilo Server - As usual the Ventrilo Server provided by InSPire Net will be available for discussion pre & post race and also for abusing Snake during races themselves. The Ventrilo server details are:
You will need to uninstall whatever version you have and download Version 2.1.4 and install it. Once installed connect by typing in the server address as ventrilo.inspire.net.nz (203.114.130.17)
The above details are open for discussion and change.

Look forward to seeing you there Skuzz.
captainhopeless has posted this guide over at GPForums for making the Laguna Seca track work in the V8 SuperCar Mod. Let us know if you have any problems. Cheers CH!

hopefully I haven't missed some screamingly obvious "V8 Track Importer"
extract laguna.zip to F1C\V8seasondata\circuits
(so you end up with F1C\V8seasondata\circuits\2003_laguna\*.* )
edit 2003_laguna.GDB and add '2004' into 'Filter Properties', so you can select the track in single player. Mine looks like this:
Filter Properties = 1999 AND 2000 AND 2001 AND 2002 AND 2003RH AND SRW AND 2004
edit 2003_laguna.SCN and add 'V8' to the 'Searchpath' strings, and remove \laguna\
//SearchPath=SEASON02\TRACKS\Laguna\MAPS
//SearchPath=SEASON02\TRACKS\Laguna\MTS
SearchPath=v8SEASONDATA\CIRCUITS\2003_Laguna
SearchPath=v8SEASONDATA\CIRCUITS\
SearchPath=v8SEASONDATA\VEHICLES

The server is up for ETCC at Laguna Seca - I will keep checking to see if people are having problems and we will change. Use the ETCC Import program to import the track from the folder you downloaded it to. Remember to make sure you go to the last level in the folder because WinZip creates an extra folder by default.

if you have issues running laguna seca on ETCC (as I was) ensure the following is set up like so:
You must have a folder called
Laguna with the subfolder 2003_Laguna in your ETC03SeasonData\Circuits\ directory
be sure to copy the two files sitting outside of the 2003_Laguna folder into the 2003_Laguna folder for F1C.
The files you need to edit for it to show up in the game are in the Laguna\2003_Laguna track folder:
2003_Laguna.scn
these lines should be at the top
SearchPath=ETC03SEASONDATA\CIRCUITS\Laguna\2003_Laguna
SearchPath=ETC03SEASONDATA\CIRCUITS\Laguna\
SearchPath=ETC03SEASONDATA\VEHICLES
SearchPath=ETC03SEASONDATA\CIRCUITS\COMMON
2003_Laguna.gdb
this should be at the top
2003_Laguna
{
Filter Properties = ETC03
make sure the filter is set to ETC03 for it to show up in ETCC.
I believe it's the same thing for any track in any mod also, just find out what the mods filter is (you can do this by vieiwing existing tracks for that mod) and that the search paths have the right folder names.
(this is similar (if not the same) to what Captain posted
