Track Schedule for NZNL Season 5

Post by TonyG » Sat Aug 06, 2005 7:02 pm

Track schedule below for A League, B league will be 25% for all races
Start time for A league is 9.30 qual, 8.30 practice, B league 7.30 qual, 6.30 practice.

Changes to unrestricted Superspeedway length is to encourage more pit strategy.
Finishing time should still be aprox 10.45 - 55 as per last season (except for enduro of course :) )

Supercell - SS (50%)
MichiganBR - S (45%)
Thunderbay - SS (50%)
Chicagoland - S (45%)
DaytonaBR - SS - Enduro (100%)
American Speedway - S (45%)
Indianapolis - S (45%)
TalladegaBR - SS (45%)

Looks like a good schedule _b I like the fact that all the tracks are a little bit different (apart from Talladega & Daytona)

Is Daytona going to be Day or night? (personally I would prefer night)

Good to see Indy back although I can't help but think we might be better served by having Pocono in the schedule instead of American Speedway, Pocono is a similarly interesting layout but it doesn't have the dodgy corner American Speedway does.

DaytonaBR is a day track

American Raceway has had comments about a dodgey corner but everyone who mentioned this also said that they would race it in the league, so unless there are any major objections, it will stay :)

The idea is to race a varied amount of old and new tracks :)

Mmmm, Supercell _b

Looks like SimTV is gonna need a new paint scheme too D: Esp seeing my new number is now 17 instead of 11. I wonder if gaffer tape on the bonnet would do the trick.

Umm, also for all, it's going to be highly unlikely I'll be able to get any videos done for this season, due to the impending election. It's keeping me slightly insane and just a tad busy.

(shameless plug) And don't forget to watch Thursday 7.30pm TV3 for the leaders yawn debate.

Hehe, yes I'll put that right at the top of my list of must see TV along with Cambel Live and Holmes. :p Must see for the over 60's that is ;)
Cop: Are you OK?
Randolph: I don't know. I'm kinda ****ed up in general, so it's hard to gauge.
