GTR SEASON 1 - RACE 10 Monza - Final Race of Season 1
3.585 Miles / 5.770 km
Monza , 10 miles north of the city of Milan, Monza is Europe's oldest permanent circuit still in use. It is 3.585 Miles / 5.770 km in length and even though chicanes now infiltrate on three fast sections, the sweeping corners and long straights make this still the fastest circuit on the Formula 1 and GT Championship calendar.

Hmmmm - let me see.....
Team DuD 1st, 2nd, 6th and 32nd.
Team Famin 3rd, ...........
I guess you wouldn't want to miss qualifying tonight and be behind any of those lower placed team members.......or try lapping them for that matter.

was fun while the race lasted, but it would appear the connection is so shithouse in that game that it couldn't hold on, shame that
A question for famin to finish off the spiffing GTR round (and well done to the organisers for running a great league)
Do you ever read the book you preach about Famin? or do you just like the sound of your own voice?
Well done on the first corner effort in the first race

Hey Guys,
I have to say that I have thoroughly enjoyed racing with all of you.
This is my first ever league I have raced in.
I'm starting to know some of you guys as well even though I have never met you.
I hope I haven't pissed too many people off with outrageous passing etc.
I look forward to the next league with the GT's
Thanks again guys.
Growler.

first race I certainly missed my braking point and managed to nerf Jon who went sideways thru the first chicane and recovered still ahead of me.
Unfortunately for me (or maybe justifiably) Flyboy then managed to hit me off the track at the next chicane.
yes I regret pushing the slow in fast out, warm up the brakes mantra now! Its still true but i guess I need to remember it myself for sure.
I did my best from about 12th or so and managed a reasonable result.
2nd race I started much better, getting into 4th. I was chasing down the slower of the chesterman children when he disappeared again.
Had a great run with Unbound again after that, until parabolica where I thought i was past but the replay shows us side by side and you had every right to hold the line unbound so fair enuff.
A 5th after that was all I could manage.
I agree, great racing, good league, I look forward to the GT's.
Not sure about the escorts but we'll see.
and hey Liquid, good racing in that 2nd race. very quick and a real threat.

Was a great season for me and I really enjoyed some great little battles with the other mid feilders.
Thanks very much to all the guys who organised this, Eagle, Liquid, Unbound and Bold I think were the culprits. Well done guys, you put together a great league with good rules and an easy to follow format.
Awesome stuff guys and once again thanks very much to InSPire Net for their support of our online racing, once again supplying a free server and all that bandwidth. Sometimes we forget the cost and effort that this ISP put in for our enjoyment and we just come to expect it. Thanks to Riven for sorting all the server issues and making it happen for us. Your enthusiasm for our racing even when you are unable to compete is appreciated very much.
I'm looking forward to our next adventure into the Online Racing Galaxy, and always remember........The DuD's rule

Yes the second race was awesome Famin with some close racing.
Thanks to everyone that sticked the season out, the field has gone from 30 at the start to about 20 keen good racers.
So over the next week we will discuss whats to change in Season 2.
Final points to be put up soon
PS: Big thanks to Riven and Inspire for hosting the GTR Server
