Nascar League 5 - Penalty Submissions

Post by BAZZIL » Sat Aug 27, 2005 1:44 pm

Driving and Penalties

Just a few things to help out the committee and perhaps a few notes drivers should take down.

Replay Submission:

Drivers must now adhere to a naming convention of protests, we are getting files with the same filenames we have previously had, also when we are not in nascar it would be nice to know who submitted what against who for what track.

So the files must be named :

<accuser>_vs_<defendant>_<trackname>

Eg:

bazz_vs_bold_supercell

When saving off your replay make sure to set the camera on YOUR car and set the camera view to ‘far chase’. It gets a tad annoying when the camera is in the pits, you then have to find the drivers name in the list and choose a camera view.

Driving and improving the driving

Drivers should be aware that if we are to improve driving in our league races then we have to help out those that are causing accidents. Drivers that are protested against should look at the reason why they were penalized or protested against, the committee will be making more of an effort this season to ensure that drivers who are protested against know why they were penalized.

If you can’t see the protest result reasoning behind being penalized then please ask the committee.

The feedback from drivers that have been protested against has been good, it gives the committee a better idea of why an incident would have occurred.

It is probably in your best interests to send the committee a short paragraph (not an essay) of your side of the story of an incident, anyone telling porkies about an accident will be subject to disciplinary action.
