Re: GTR GT season... I'm in. Wouldn't mind a wide selection to choose from, but I'm ok either way. Put me down for the Lambo, pls.

I'm less worried about car selection than getting the stupid game to let me in without, re-registering user and reboots each time I wanna play the ruddy thing.

Had this self same problem both before and after rebuild..damn frustrating when you try to join to practice under race conditions and you end up with no time to do so, cause you spent 10- 20 mins getting the damn thing started.

Wonder whats going to happen when there is only one Lambo, serveral ppl wanting it and the server wont allow duplicates. Guess we might have to find some add on ones for every one too d/l.

Is there a reason the server wont allow duplicates? It hasn't been a problem in the past and I see no real reason to enforce it.

I've got several addon Lambo's and Vette's, among others. 90% of them were gotten at RSC in the GTR Skinning subforum. The others are personal repaints.

The Saleen is likely to be quite popular as well, not sure how many versions avail for that in game either.

Getting a scope of cars and no's from drivers would be good and then look at what can be met in game and what addons are needed by all to get it going.

Individual skinning seems to be unworkable, so addons seems only answer unless that would also cause server side/user side bandwidth/ping issues...

What do you suggest Riven?

Half awake post, I wouldnt worry about it. Shame the Lambo only comes in one shade.

If everyones going to run Lambos and Saleens, I might have to go "red" again.

It matters not how everyone looks, you just press ze TAB button and you can see all the names on the cars.

We should be talking about more important things like how we are going to take famin out, not talk about how we are going to have different coloured cars

Don't treat stupid comments like that as mind games, you're attributing far too much credit where it isn't warranted.

Name calling won't do much good either.

If as it appears you and Inspector have buried the hatchet,

then just ignore the rest of the DuD, dud childish comments.

We are all better served by getting the next league going and enjoying the racing.

Boy oh boy...I didn't think this had turned this serious!!
I agree with Happy - I normally run with the driver names on (tab button) so I can see who I'm passing and who is passing me.
I don't have time to check what colour car xxxx driver is racing.
I will probably run with the Saleen as I have done more driving with that than any other car.

The Tab key thing raises a question, dumb one probably, but it dont work for me, is it simply a setting somewhere or I'm too blind to see or something more serious?

Yeah in controls you can assign a key for "players names" i think its called
