felt it was definately a track that bit you if you tried to push to hard, had a few times in a drift through a corner just hanging on but was concentrating on conserving tyres and maintaining a good pace rather than tearing round the track and pitting more often to get fresh tyres

Racing could be had (though not drafting much) but required both drivers to be very aware of where the other car was and making sure that the pass if attempted was well timed and not overcooked

Actually really enjoyed the race, few times on fresh tyres was packing myself trying to keep ahead of a gaining pack so as not to get caught up in anything silly but the challenge was alot more fun than a simbrick track

I enjoy it.

I started 2nd. I went into the race planning to conserving tyres, but I didn't do that in the first stint and destroyed my tyres and had to change my strategy and run a 4 stopper end up 13th not bad considering everyone in fount of me was on a 3 stopper.

That track is good but need a better setup if we run it again. The problem with it is that it is to loose at the start of a run and was too tight for the rest.

Sorry to hear about you not being able to run I’ll try and find a new driver to replace you for the rest of the season.

So if there is anyone how wants to be in a team an isn't get in contact with me.

You mean tracks that require less driving skill? I really enjoyed the race.

I enjoyed that race, Chicagoland is fun track, the problem is the setup its to loose early on and to tight at the end of a run.

I think it is more the tyres going going, that is why it became tight, but if you conserve at the beginning you are better off at the end.

Conserving tyres wasnt so much of a problem it was trying to avoid all the accidents that were wearing my tyres often

Not Guilty, your honour.

Once again I get credit for another Voda drivers deeds. Me thinks the Voda cars may be too similar. I may have to borrow a pink dress off Snake to race in, so I can be better seen.

Nah Viking, you made the commnet about the early laps, I am still not sure who's accident I was caught up in at the time, since there was so much smoke, but after review, it was Havoc losing it in turn 1.

I was helping Prom originally with authoring DVD's for this...

I've still got the source code avi file on my PC I think, tested producing a DVD, user tested on Famin's player, no one asked for it so I did nothing more with it.

You wanna copy, please PM me details

836MB, just a wee bit too big to snag onto a CD, unless someone knows a trick for it.

DVD+R cheap enuff so no dramas

Looks and sounds great on a big telly :D

Well yes, I was talking about Race One also...

Race Two movie didn't eventuate I thought partly coz of lack of interest in Race One...copies at least.

No problem...that makes 2 outta 2 so far wrong today

Never mind if anyone by chance wants the FIRST race on DVD let me know via PM.

Yeah that's right folks. While the intent was nice and kind for a Aus v NZ Race 2 video, the demand for race 1 (yep, 400+ downloads so far) did put it all into a perspective for me.

While I can make a race video, I just don't have the free time to give it the effort it deserves. Even with a 1,2 finish for me and Mr Wood, crossing the line in style . . .

And having looked back on my vids, they just seem to be a crash feast anyway :D

I'm still keen to make vids and let people have them, my free time has ben taken up with more important stuff at the mo' (both work and personal).
