Well done Bazz on your win _b
Good stuff Monsters _b
Bad luck at the beginning Odie but great recovery, bad luck Dan (not sure what dropped you from 1st to 5th), great 2nd riv,
I had a reasonable race and thought I was gonna miss all the incidents, but, in the third stint I couldn't avoid 2 spinning cars etc, dropped me about a lap and a bit I think, but still happy with 10th.

Big Race next week, 2 DuDs and 3 Monsters at the back for the Enduro :)

Well, I had a bad night.

First things first. Apologies to Big Al and Angus.
BigAl lap 22 I was forced high and came off the wall down into the front of you, sorry dude. :(

Angus, lap 95 Once again I was forced up into the wall, waited for the track to clear and F2 list to empty but pulled out in front of you. Sorry.

Inspector, bad night eh? you managed to collect me on lap 35. No protest, I don't like them. :>

Mattly, god knows what you were doing on lap 95... you pass me and the moment you pull infront you lift 0.0000015 seconds in front of me.
Slap on the wrist for you. O_o

Good race guys, well done Wraith. _b

6th - 13th Overall... I'm impressed. :ffs:

No prob Eagle, it's just one of those things.

That's the advantage of losing your voice - I could yell as much as possible on Ventrillo and all people would hear is some obscure rasping sound :D

Dan, did I cause one of your spins on the front straight ?? Saw you right behind me, then suddenly spinning off.

Kinda scratching my head how I dropped so many positions on my last pit stop - weird luck tonight.

yay Daytona next week _b

First off let me say sorry for anything that I caused at the start. I had hardware issues. Game ran fine in VR race, then practice. But come race time, I had the same prob as last week. Low fps as I was entering the front straight then as entering turn 1. Fine for the rest. I warned who I could on vent and tried to stay high out of way

Cleared up after 5 or so laps, but not before spinning in turn 1 and causing grief for a couple of people behind.

....Then came the pitstop. Less then 2 fps as I hit the pitlane line, all the way till I stopped at my box.
Cleared up while pitting, and then no probs for rest of race.

Congrats to Bazz.

Full reinstall upcoming. \Stupid windows :spanner:

Nah, I got sucked into the wall and spun it after I got realeased, totally my stupid fault. That dropped me behind Riven, then I was ripped 3 times in about 10 laps after that which dropped me to 5th.

A pretty rusty performance from myself, still a solid finish for the monsters this week, hopefully I'll do better next week.
Brake on the straight before it's too late.

Yep, you are right. A number of guys from the main league join in the fun every so often, but the league is designed for new racers and those who, like me, suck. They don't score points so those who race only in the VR league and score behind the 'Inspire-whackers' aren't disadvanted when it comes to the VR championship.

No worries mate, at least you put a post out here. I didn't even want to announce that I'm not racing anymore. Since I secured Murphy's Law as my first driver he can head up Team Marine for the remaining races this season. Good luck to all.

Yep aplologies Big Al, did it all right, pitted of the back straight, cruised around the apron and she just drifted up and I couldn't stop it. Totally frustrating considering I had gone from 29th off the grid to 1st place. The race just went downhill from there, self spins, and getting collected by others. Got spun once and end up facing backwards on the wall on the back straight, waited till it was clear, started to turn but 2 cars appeared, braked and waited, went again and 2 more cars appeared, braked and waited, gave it heaps and bang, one more car appeared but by then I was down at the bottom of the track and whoever I got, sorry but I was so far down I had to keep going otherwise I would have been right across the middle of the track and was expecting you to go high.

It is so frustrating not being able to see those cars coming, by time they appear on your F2 screen it is too late, you have already committed and they are going so quick they are on you before you can react.

I think it is time we seriously considered turning up the in front and behind car numbers on the server.

Anyway, sorry to Big Al and any others I collected last night, I can only hope that is my poor performance for the series out of the way.
Inspector

Was in a crappy mood before I even turned a lap so that didnt help.

Thanks to Marty for not staying put after spinning. From memory, I came off one of the corners to find you sideways pointing towards the infield. I adjusted my course as much as I could to miss the front of your car.....then you started moving forward.........BANG :( Cant be arsed protesting as I know its no fun being stuck, but thats two weeks in a row.

Had the funniest accident ever with Inspector who for some unknown reason just went up the track in front of me (I think you had come off the infield after a spin or were still in spin). I hit the back of your car and we both got real loose. I then ended up on your inside turning almost full lock to the right to keep your car from going side ways......Got a good laugh out of that one even though it did scare the crap outta me and slowed me down :)

As far as tracks go I think chicagoland is a bit tight for a decent amount of fun, there is no drafting what so ever, it's drive for yourself. And there were plenty of people spinning on their own meaning perhaps we should pick tracks that aren't so tight, but then it was an interesting race was it not ? :)
