First Season 3 CTS race - things to remember
Remember you must have signed up at SimRacerHQ as the driver roster has started clean so if you haven't signed up for season 3, then you won't be on the roster
Also be sure to read the rules as we will be strictly enforcing penalties.
A few rule amendments have been made also:
-We no longer care about what car number you have (as long as noone else has it)
- You may not pass cars by going below the yellow line (this is illegal in real nascar)
Try and jump on reasonably early to get some practice in, and be sure to download all the skins
Jump on ventrilo if you want to hear MLC cry also.

Re: First Season 3 CTS race - things to remember
I was accused of this a couple of times last season when in fact I had the "inside" call and was forced low to avoid an accident as the "outside" car dropped down to cut me off.BAZZIL wrote: - You may not pass cars by going below the yellow line (this is illegal in real nascar).
What is the general consensus now asto the correct protocol? Do you think we should back off despite the fact you have been called "inside" or should you press on and send the other car and possibly yourself into grief?
Note*Rule 24.b ~ Obviosly if its a DUD outside, you must press on regardless.
Why does KSR suck at FPS?

I think if your forced below the line then it isnt an issue.Biteme wrote:I was accused of this a couple of times last season when in fact I had the "inside" call and was forced low to avoid an accident as the "outside" car dropped down to cut me off.BAZZIL wrote: - You may not pass cars by going below the yellow line (this is illegal in real nascar).

it's when you drive below the line and complete a pass, i think then your going to be in trouble.
thou if your that close to the line to be on the left of someone, then you'd have to question if you'd need to be there, espically if it was anywhere but the back straight cause the room gets eaten up real quick.
and the call would be 'outside' if you got the inside call in that position then we are all in trouble

Here is my thoughts on it, if you have the inside line (Front bumper is to the rear tire well), you have to make sure you can keep your line through the turn. Anyway, that is the purpose of the admins to review incidents that are submitted.
