NZNL - InSPire.net Season 5 - Race 7 - Indianapolis
Since Odie's late, I'll do the duties and start things off:
InSPire.net Race 7 - Indianapolis
Practice Start - 2030
Qualify Start - 2130
Race Length - 72 Laps (45%)
PIT RESTRICTIONS : I'll leave this to the main Committee
DRIVERS UNABLE TO QUALIFY
Ze Bazzil
Happy
Riven
Prometheus
Tony G
VR Concepts Race 7 - Indianapolis
Practice Start - 1830
Qualify Start - 1930
Race Length - 40 Laps (25%)
PIT RESTRICTIONS: Please pit from the Back Straight, be in the inside half (left hand side) of the back straight before the "3" marker. You can take the corners on the access road, depending on your ability, at around 90-105mph, which is low revs in 3rd gear. Pitting from Turn 4 would be allowed only if the car has been involved in a accident after the entrance to the access road.

Thanks Gareth.....I have been up for the past 28 hours with no sleep and I have not had a chance to do this. I will be leaving work in about an hour to go home and try to get some sleep before the races tonite.
All I ask of the drivers tonite is to have a better overall race than we did during the last visit to Indy.

Well, the pre race forum was hot about what a pain it was going to be and the after race forum didn't even mention it, so I took that as there being no problemsMarkR wrote:Did it?TonyG wrote:Pitting from the back straight worked well in the last race here so we should keep it the same for the InSPire race as as well as the VR race

It wasn't that it was going to be a pain. It was that it was not needed. I still think pitting between 3 and 4 would be fine. But as you say it worked fine last time so why mess with it.TonyG wrote:Well, the pre race forum was hot about what a pain it was going to be and the after race forum didn't even mention it, so I took that as there being no problems
I'll pit from where ever I'm told and I'll damn well like it
Cop: Are you OK?
Randolph: I don't know. I'm kinda ****ed up in general, so it's hard to gauge.

Please take note then of the penalties against you, you have constantly had penalties submited against you. Look at what you are doing wrong and try to correct it.Murphy's Law wrote:I'll be able run this week but i'll my brother run in the VR Concepts.
I think last race you had steering problems?
You were swerving all over the place and you caused much trouble for some drivers.

Are you for the fun or racing online with others or are you in for the points ?Murphy's Law wrote:I'll be able run this week but i'll my brother run in the VR Concepts.
I'll be honest Murphy - you are very fast, faster than me. But you drive like a maniac, and simply put - your driving sucks, taking out other drivers regularly. Which means having you race is not fun for everyone else. So while you may be faster than me, even though it's your 2nd season, I would've thought you would realise by now that just being fast isn't enough, it's being fast and in control that counts.
I'm not on the committee. But from what I've seen of your driving this season, you might want to seriously consider if you want to drive to race, or want to race to see if you can survive.
If you're going to race tonight and have the usual complaints and protests against you - you have 65 penalty points in just 6 races - you're really gotta ask, why race ?
Me, I've been on a bluntness course.
Mods and committee - feel free to delete this post if I have over stepped the mark.

If your lagging like your "brother" was Murphy's Law then you should really sit tonight out for everyones sake. He was popping in and out and lagging by a full second. Completely unacceptable to drive around in a field of 30+ cars.

Welll I stayed away from this race as in the vr concepts league praccy I noticed my tyres were stuffed after 6 laps and in the race first few laps blew a tyre and got dqed in the pits so made a decision to sit out the inspire net league sorry to wraith whom had to fly the team vengeance flag by himself.
Why are tyres being chewed up so fast is it wheel config?

Well done Mark
Looks like the Monsters have a jinx on them this series, don't think there was a race where we didn't have a catastrophe
Started out good for me, then after the first pit I moved over to let Gareth through but he didn't make it, so I was spinning around then later Wideload bounced off the wall and took me out, so 11th was my lot
Last race next week, fingers crossed for all Monsters to finish
OOH, just spotted that I had the fastest lap, good consolation prize
