GTR - V8's round Bathurst this avo/evening sometime

Post by BAZZIL » Sat Oct 08, 2005 2:11 pm

A group of us are racing v8's round bathurst at the moment at Inspectors, we will crank a server up for all to join later on, The files you need are here:

Bathurst track:

Bathurst

V8 MOD for GTR:

GTR V8 MOD

Who's Keen and we'll crank a server up ?

Attached is a setup, bit of a dodgy track - so a dodgy setup. Made for less roll. Rename file to a .svm if you download

bugger, going out tonight. Oh well. I do have supplies of Stella for tomorrow, assuming there's anything left of my house - the wind has blown down 2 trees and totally destroyed my fence and a bit of the garden. Of course, there's no-one home at the Titirangi Golf Course (who own the trees).

That was great. Apart from me constanty jumping the fence. Doh.

I'd be in for a V8 series. The cars feel great to drive.

Go Murph!

Altough won't it screw the points system? ;p

In fact I'd be keen for a v8 league.

I can add the car in. But there would be a lot of waa babies that can't/forget to change cars.

I don't think it would be a good idea to add a random V8 race in. It didn't work well with the vertigo.
Cop: Are you OK?
Randolph: I don't know. I'm kinda ****ed up in general, so it's hard to gauge.

Yes please, with as many NZ and Aussie track we can find would be cool.
Plenty of setups out there too I'd wager.

Maybe by the time we finish the GTR league the Aussie V8s will be out for rFactor

I'll drive a rFactor V8 league - it's just lame the cars geometry aren't actually the Aussie V8s.

At this point I'd actually rather drive GTR.

Also I don't think there's a Bathhurst, Puke etc for rFactor yet is there?

correct, no puke or bathurst (or any other aussie track) just yet.

Im on for a V8 league to be as close to the actual track list and sequence using GTR asap!

You do realise that prett much all of the Aussie V8 circuits are very bad for online racing. Most are very narow and tight, with maybe 1 passing place if you are lucky.
