GTR GT Season - Week 5 - Donnington

Post by UnbounD » Mon Oct 10, 2005 7:26 pm

Donnington

Up hill and down dale, Donninton has it all. A perfect Hairpin, off camber down hill speed runs and some of the deepest sandpits on the Calender.

Will Happy fall off, will Liquid roll his Vette off the trailer without changing setup and embarres many will.. will........ So many questions.

Good luck to all!

Tuesday nights format.

Two races of 30 mins Duration.

One mandatory Pitstop per race.

Qual starts at 8:50 NZDT

Please dont forget to change your cars on the site before you race if your changing.

Are there livestock involved in this race?
Does this mean the Lambourginis will be charging at the Red Ferraris?
Do were have to dress in Spanish outfits to race?
Does anyone understand what the hell I'm going on about?
More questions than answers.

My race setup, got me a few 1:27.3xx times during the race, and no need to change tyres, though the fronts run at around 110 degrees.

My qual (1:26.6xx) is the same setup, but 5 laps gas, and softs all round

Here is the magic setup that I was running with. Its very stable and runs over the rumble strips nicely.

Looking forward to new computer, one set up for gaming and gaming only. My slide show stutters returned on the start line and I tagged a Lister into turn 4 i think and then a ferrari into the hairpin. I bailed as this is just rubbish. I've got a few more weeks with this setup and will probably go back to GPL for a while until i can get sorted. Looking forward to the V8s to come.

Points are up and accurate. No problems this week :)
Cop: Are you OK?
Randolph: I don't know. I'm kinda ****ed up in general, so it's hard to gauge.

Cool, getting tight in the top ten will have to lift my game to stay there, hopefully this sunday's course will result in a good basis for making setups I can drive in future races. A real challenge to get my fifth place back _b
