NZNL Season 6 - Race 3 - Riki Raceway

Post by Inspector » Wed Oct 12, 2005 11:05 am

Thread for Race 3 of the New Zealand Nascar Leagues 6th Season.

This race is proudly Sponsored by:

Image

Riki brings us to the 3rd race of the season and Bazzil is continuing his dominance of the league with consitantly finishing in the top 5 each and every week. Prometheus continues to be impressive and we all still wonder if he had not missed the last race during season 5, if he would have had his first podium finish for the final standings. I foresee a throphy coming to Prom this season. The next 10 drivers are seperated by 55 points and with this track anything can happen. Drivers must be aware of the "slick" spot on the track and prepare themselves for any carnage that may ensue. With SimTV dropping to 3rd in points and Voda grabbing the top spot in the team points, it is going to be a drop down down out finish for the top spot during the whole season.

We are hoping to find a new winner the season with Bazzil and Wraith already grabbing a win this season, the question is who will be the next. Money is on Happy for this race.

Drivers who will not qualify this week are:

Bazzil
Prometheus
Happy
Viking
Wraith
Inspector

As sponsor of tonights racing I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone good luck tonight.

Myself and Team Nua are looking forward to the racing tonight, hopefully mixing it with some more senior racers in the VRC league.

To all those that have helped us out over the recent weeks, thanks, we hope your assistance can be see in our racing.

Good luck again for tonight.

Let's all take a moment to remember the great accidents that the bump mid t1/2 has caused in the past.

Let's learn from them _b
Cop: Are you OK?
Randolph: I don't know. I'm kinda ****ed up in general, so it's hard to gauge.

Oh that's why i don't race ovals...lol guys in 20th taking you out of 8th in dumb passing moves. Sorry to Havoc and Ian who got caught up in me trying to avoid accidents. That's quite enough Nascar for one lifetime.

I would like to thank Storm for absolutely wrecking the best race that I have to date. Just a little patience in the pit lane would have avoided the stupid contact which led to my DQ.

mahaahaha I like starting at the back, found myself in first going into first pitstop from avoiding the carnage, then self spin in pits, then another spin on my 2nd pitstop, so third stop I pushed it the extra lap just drifted into my pitstop but paid off at the end.

Pity the sacks cldnt finish the job we started with 123 early on.

Woohooo _b I love Riki

5 bitch slap points for Angus. Learn to pit without spinning yourself into people.

Gimp track.

Well not the most spectacular race after spending a few minutes in the pits after a tow but in the end the result was all good for the sacks with Wraith winning and Havoc in the top 10 as well :p

Careful Chequers was a nice punt you gave me while coming into a major ding and not slowing by the looks of things....pot calling kettle

Yeah a little work needed on the pitting Angus.
1st time spun yourself - took out Eagle causing him to miss pitlane
2nd time spun youself and impaleled me on the fence - 30sec tow.

By the way who was the one who poured the cans of grease in all the turns.
Spun high and low in the tri-oval, wiggled in other turns.

/Toys thrown on ground beside Eagle's.

Best not go back to that track, Riki = Lotto.

Yeah sorry Jetboy. I tried to stop (and avoid flying debris) but just wasn't quick enough, or should that be slowed enough.
