Where the track grooves are joined together around the corner - where the banking increases if the cars hit that at the wrong angle under a particular load she looses grip :)

Much fun :>

There ain't going to be many toys left in the Voda pen tonight. Mine went out the window after my 3-minute tow after a turn 1 disaster.

Race Report (through my eyes) :

00:00 Race started really well . . . 3rd on grid . . . I still can't believe how much my Qualifying has improved . . . lead 5 cars form a pack and are travelling really smoothly together.

9:45 THE BIG ONE : lead pack catch a smaller pack, then ahead of them, Mad Marty loses it . . . carnage.

19:50 Going into tri-oval . . . following Storm . . . he seems to slow . . . I move high to avoid . . . didn't see Mattley had moved up on outside of me . . . I put him into wall.

20:16 Danman on exit lap and in bottom lane . . . as our pack passes him high, he seems to drift high as I start to turn into the turn . . . we touch . . . I spin . . . Gareth and I collide . . . Danman "jumps" back into line . . . so I assume it was warp.

24:08 Bazzil baulks as the cars ahead of him slow . . . I pass him low . .. he tries to re-pass me on outside . . . he drifts low . . . I drift high . . . contact and he spins.

31:25 Closely following Ian, we catch Biteme and Chequers on their exit lap . . as we pass Chequers, he drifts high as I move low to avoid Ian who seems to slow . . . Chequers and I tuch and we both spin.

39:55 Jetboy loses it . . . Chequers and I can't avoid him.

1:14:18 I go high to let Mikool pass me . . . he drifts high . . . we touch . . . I spin . . . Gareth & Big Al can't avoid . . . Prom, Unbound & Odie get caught up in it too.

All up . . . had a great start . . . then went steadily backwards. :-(

Perhaps you look at your replay if you saved it.

I entered turn 3 on the high line, you were on the low line, then you spontaneously lost control and sent me flying. I held a steady line and never drifted low

Um . . . that's what I did . . . I watched my whole replay and just jotted down incidents that I was involved in . . . I didn't do it from memory.

I didn't write these things down to blame anybody or as my own excuse . .. . just what I saw from my point of view . . . as we all know . . . . sometimes incidents can look totally different from different people's replays.

EDIT : If anyone that I was involved with in of these any incidents wants to exchange replays of the incidents, feel free to email or message me.

All I know is that on new fuel stinks I drafted with Bold and another driver, just to try and catch the leaders. I believe there were 2 incidents that had Bold drifting up and 1 time I tried to take the inside, but he did not lose that much speed, so I lifted and fell back in line.

Bold...can you tell me how my connection looked in your mirror?

I don't know if your connection was the same in the race as it was in practice odie, but in practice your connection was not particularly good, you weren't warping out, but your car was moving sideways a lot.

Your connection looked fairly good to me Odie. I know I had one or two lag spikes, which im pretty sure were on my end as it effected all the cars I could see.

Sorry about some of my dodgy lines last night Odie, managed to hit those bumps occasionally and get it crossed up.. I would have let you through when you tried to pass if you'd kept your foot in :)

Here is my replay of the incident Rob. I did move down perhaps slightly too much, but if you look at what happens to your car, it's clearly obvious that if I was up higher I'd have had no chance anyways, as your car appears to spontaneously change direction and head up the track.

The interesting thing on that replay is the 3 Google cars drafting together and looking good while NOT causing any mayhem.

It does look like Rob was coming up the track and would have hit you even if you did stay higher. The main thing is way was he so intent on passing you?

I wasn't . . . chance was there so I took it and went low.

The thing is . . . I was trying to keep as low as possible to give you as much room as I could . . . but you'll see me veer slightly inwards first . . . and then I overcompensated . . . and as Bazzil had moved down slightly, I hit him.

My fault . . . just wasn't enough room for me to catch it in time.

It would be interesting to see your replay then Rob, as it looks pretty straight forward to what happened with Bazz's replay.
