Cool race last night all, very enjoyable. Seemed to be relatively incident free (from my perspective), although seeing Inspector tied up on the barrier at pit entry made me go "huh ?" before zooming past.
Somehow I had better fuel economy than others last night, prob because I was riding the accelerator gently, trying to keep my tyres in one piece. Which worked as I was able to pick off a couple of people in the last 7 laps or so in a tank of gas. And by stretching my gas, my plan worked in that I had a short distance to go on the last stop, and with fresh tyres, picked up another couple of spots easily.
good fun ladies.
CocaCola carnage continues convincingly - coming up !

Yes spot of good luck for me that was, i had resided to finishing 12th as i was only making little headway into you guys lead and then with you and Unbound getting tangled up i managed to sneak through and pick-up another 2 placesJetboy wrote:Cruisy race, though think after the last stop had some awesome racing with *Viking?...sorry its late*....3-4 laps side by side then we cuaght up to unbound and he joined in as well, was all good though as very clean, close but clean...got a bit of a nudge in the final few laps but being on the outside as our tires suffered from the punishment we were dishing out was not to worried (though Big Al managed to slip past in the midst of it all bastard heh)
Overall a very enjoyable race, if my memory is right i dont think i lost a single placing on the track but was constantly losing 2-3 positions in the pits so more work needed on quicker pitstops.

Well I could have done with a few more dings quite frankly. After poor old Wide lost it on lap five I dropped all the way back into the mid-late 20's and never managed to make any further headway since I'm steady on that track but not hugely fast. Curse these clean races we've had recently!
Well done TonyG and Bazz...but as for Inspector, jeez, perhaps we should call that race the Inspector Memorial Self Rippage 500.

Well pretty good track, race sucked with no in game sound.
When I went into the race and going through corner 2 realised I had no in game sound (vent etc fine). That completely screwed with me and as the results showed stuffed my race up.
A long shot but just wondering if there is a way to fix that without exiting the game tried going into options with no success? I wouldn't think so but thought would be worth asking.
Cheers
