Post by UnbounD » Mon Nov 14, 2005 8:23 pm

Monza

The final run for the GT league.

Great track, very fast and the Ferrari should finally shine.

Two 25 min races
No pit stops

Good luck!

Unfortunately due to my profligate son downloading music we are throttled to 60kps for a week.

I assume this means Ill miss Monza...

Good luck all. :(

What did you set your connection to Unbound? I assume it cant stay as ISDN? but if I reduce it to 56K then it may affect others?

well that seemed to work OK...

I fell off about 3 times in race 1. well done gregory for first win...
and then in race 2 happy cut the corners once too often and the no lap at the end effectively knocked him to 2nd. V bad luck as definitely quicker but you have to stay on the track eh?

So a 3rd and a 1st. Ill take that!

and I didnt even hit Liquid (despite a kamekazi lunge into the first chicane in race 2!!!)

Big ups to everyone who stayed in the league to race. Without a good field it wouldnt be the same.

Thnx to Inspire for the server as usual and

ROLL ON THE V8's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes very distracting, couldn't get a clean lap in to qual in the top half to have half a chance.

Especially after first race bust, in fifth/sixth approaching first corner bunted over the grass at high speed and stop/go penalty.. race effectively over.

Ah well stuck with it to the end, interesting season what with one thing or another.... First half good, downhill from there with one Top Five being the highlight, plus some good battles for lower places at times..still more fun than frustration

Good stuff Unbound for organising it and Eagle for doing the points, shame you couldn't stick with, what with exams etc..bummer... _b _b _b _b

Thanks to Eagle from Me for doing the points and helping with some of the decision making.

Thanks to all those who took part.

I may post what I really feel about the gtr league later, but I doubt it as it will all just repeat its self either way.

Cheers

Despite forgetting about the time change two weeks ago I managed to show up for race 2, made it a quarter of the way through the race and then we had a 'net outage in our area for about 3 hours.
Despite that, I beat my own best lap, so yay.
