Hey, slightly stupid question but does anyone know whether or not templates for the V8's exist?

Was a shame AUSORC never finished this mod they started an update on it to fully complete it properly but stopped and are now concentrating on the mod for r factor.

It's ORSM that made the mod for F1C, and the new one for rfactor

Does anyone else have this weird low steering wheel thing in GTR V8s? Any fixes/patches?

I dont know what you mean by low steering wheel (I use the bonnet view) but there is a patch for the falcon view and of course you should be able to adjust the view using the mouse. ie: moving in and out and left right buttons for height etc.

I found the default view was pressed up against the windscreen. If you use the mouse to adjust the position back the wheel is in about the right place

Yeah, when they converted this from F1C the view and motoc got weird. You have to move the view (via mouse) all the way back to see your wheel, dials etc. You can alter your player file to get motec in car too.

well it looks like Puke, Bathurst, Oran Park, Sandown and Shanghai.

I suggest this order..

1. Oran Park
2. Bathurst
3. Shanghai
4. Sandown
5. Pukekohe

Taupo as a backup...heh

That gets a small Track out of the way first then the longest (wish it wish wasnt there) then the totally new track in the centre and finish with another small track and finally the very familiar puke...

Ok with that?

If so can we have Oran Park up on the server this weekend please Riven.

The links for Orank park are in this thread and the aussie V8s are in some other thread... try a search.

Lets go to it and DO IT!

The download links are all in the first post on page 1

I'm not sure what Famin has in mind, but I would expect a test session to try out some of the tracks this week before starting proper.
