GTL Server is up

Post by Riven » Thu Nov 24, 2005 11:45 am

GT Legends dedicated server - 203.114.130.11 or games2.inspire.net.nz

Currently its restricted in cars to most of the slower ones until everyone has had a chance to get through most of the unlocking.

If someone could test to make sure they can join and stuff that'd be great.

Looks like you have added all the fast ones and not the slow ones by mistake.

Sweet.

Yeah I may have the car selections around the wrong way.

Dunno about that bman, but I have experienced that with GTR aswell.

Yup cars definitely round the wrong way so me unable to drive any of em yet lol!

Just installed it tonight.... and haven't unlocked a thing.

Tip for others - if game crashes on startup then try setting the shader level manually.

anyone gotta good fast Cortina or Mini setup?

Ive only had a couple of races at Anderstorp North (full sim mode of course) and can just crack 59's with default car. Thus finding it a bit hard to finish races as the winners do 57's.

dedicated server race and practice legth in 1.5 explained.

1. It’s no longer possible to selects sessions and set session times
2. The race time is now set my % instead of race time (180 minutes base as before)
3. The practice 1 and 2 sessions time is function of race time. For a race time of 72 minutes (40%) I had 36 minutes time session for each practice sessions. So Practice session time is 50% of race time
4. Qualifying time is 50% of Practice session time. In this case I had a 18 minutes qualifying session.
5. Warm up is 33% of Qualifying time. I had a 6 minutes warm up session.

(im not sure this is true but it means that to get a better practice time you have to set the race length and do some sums.

Thats for GTR not GTL.

Anyhow, GTL is back up 203.114.130.11 for now barring further hardware issues (fingers crossed)

I'd like to have a regular run with some Kiwi's and Australians!
Would prefer the TC65's but will try anything once.

what we need is for someone to suggest a regular time to race.
