NZNL - Stockcar Series - Round 4

Post by Inspector » Thu Nov 24, 2005 12:20 pm

Monday 28th November:

Race 1: Ozark Super Speedway = 22 laps
Race 2: Bristol Night = 50 laps
Race 3: Darlington Raceway = 37 laps

The InSPire Net number 2 games server (203.114.130.11) is back up and running and is rotating through Ozark, Bristol and Darlington for anyone who wants to practice right up till Monday night when we will change once again to the number 1 server (203.114.130.15) just before the first race.

Now the Red Team seem to have got their bearings will they stage the big come back and rip the puny black team to shreds?

:crash: If you can't beat'em, smash'em.......

Bristol....if you haven't had a practice on this I suggest you do and relate any queries you have about this being used on the board.

I think it is too narrow and there will be bitching from all corners about shots :crash: being taken from under the yellow line. In places, under the yellow line is wider than the track.

Has anyone managed to get a suitable setup sorted for OZARK?

We have raced Bristol many times in both normal League mode and for demo derbys and yes it is far to small but it "is" Bristol and just couldn't be left out.

Yes can someone come up with a more stable setup for Ozark so we can upload it to the server to use on Monday and I'll link it for everyone to get if they want to practice offline.

I tried to come up with a setup for this track...I have sent it to Inspector and Bazzil, but if other drivers can voice their opinion, it would be very help to the series and this particular race. Just remember the setup could be better if we were using it for a NASCAR race, but this is a Stockcar race where you are allowed to wreck the leaders :)

The default "fast" setup on the both the .11 and .15 server have now been changed to the setup that Odie made. When you join the server your PC will automatically use the servers fast setup (which is Odies one) but when you practice offline you will need to use the "test ozark" setup unless of course you renamed it when you saved it to your Ozark folder.

The .11 server will be rotating through the tracks as normal up till just before race time when we will move to the .15 server for the race.

Keep in mind that we will be voting next week on your favourite 4 tracks from this short series to race next Monday in the final round.

Good luck and good crashing tonight :crash:
