Trois Rivieres Track - Nippon F3's (Saturday 8:30pm)

Post by Mattly » Sat Dec 17, 2005 2:51 pm

Don't know about you guys, but the last week has really been a blast. Nearly every night we have been tearing around in F3's and loving every minute of it. I was using Marty's thread again today looking for something new to add to my rfactor experience and i found this track

Trois Rivieres Track

The speel claims it's the most realisitic tack so far created for rfactor and i thought why not? The file weighs in at 25.5mb and has a self installer.

It's kinda like Melbourne but with nice wide straights and plenty of challenging corners. _b

oooh, oooh, pick me. :bounce:

This is a nice track that is easy to learn. Tight for overtaking but fun to drive.

Have you got clearance for this event?

If so, I shall be there, very nice looking track and should be as much fun as the runoff track. Anyone asked Riven if we can have the track uploaded? Otherwise, Bold have you guys worked out how you can point your router at me yet?

Thanks to everyone for some great racing last night, that track is a nasty piece of work, but after we shared a bit of setup info and got a bit of practice in it was great fun. I managed to get some really fast qual and practice times but couldn't control myself, especially during the early stages of the race and so Mattly took a great win and Viking took 2 well deserved 1st places from the battling Biteme, Storm and Vegemite_Shake (Metla). All in all a lot of fun and definitely a great evenings entertainment.

I threw together a cheap and nasty clip of one of my many mistakes (2.30mb)

Look mum, no wheel......

Nice Vid Inspector, now I see how ya lost that wheel. :D

Always thought you were closer into the first turn on the starts so was giving room, but from your point of view there was heaps more space between us than I thought.

Luv driving those open wheelers, everything happens so much quicker than even the GTR cars. Reactions get so much quicker, because they have to be.

I had a blast, I was way off the pace but hadn't even driven the Open Wheelers before, nor done more then 5 or 6 laps on either track...So I can only improve.....

.....Hopefully.

The AI on the first track were a bit of a pain though, When someone crashed they would stop dead and wait for them to clear the track, So instead of getting an oputunity to pass I had an accident instead.....Ploughing into Mr Tamagotchi.... :D
