Wednesday Night GT Legends racing

Who's keen for some GTL tonight?

Start at about 8:00ish and just have a night of 5 - 10 lap sprint races or something like that or whatever goes.

It'd be good to get a decent number of us on the server =]

Damn fuckin Gameplanet with the "no online codes" bullshit.
I'll be there sitting in the stand watching and fuming as my car is still in the garage while I'm waiting for a $2 part to arrive from Repco!

One word Growler: Hamachi

I'm in the same boat waiting on the code to arrive, but I was on the server last night racing without having done anything illegal.

Riven has set up a Hamachi network that includes the game server, so for those of us waiting on codes can play by connecting using the LAN/DirectIP option.

Install and crank up Hamachi (turn off Windows file sharing).
Click "Join Network", and enter the following:
Network name: inspire_games
Password: sc
You should then see the games servers and anyone else connected to that network.
Jump into GTL, select the LAN option under Multiplayer and you should see the GTL Server as a LAN server.
Join and race!

finish I guess will be when everyone has had enough, with lots of short races it doesn't matter what time you join (but you might want to get on ventrilo so we can tell you when the track ticks over so you can join)

DVD drive arrived today (Thanks heaps for my xmas pressy Sulley)

what do you mean you can't get it installed till tomorrow?

Open side of case, remove old drive, insert new drive, plug cables from old drive into new drive, and your good to go

If you can pull a V8 apart, you can swap a cd drive..

Hey Guys,

new to the scene here, Just started working at inspire net and have been lured into the sim racing scene :P (by the co-workers)

I will probably be around a little after 830 and would love to take part will come on to venti and say hi when i get on.

Normally an Fps man myself bf2 cod2 q3 ut etc etc etc but am lovin the driving!
