Yes I'll hop on tonight for some practise at whatever time.
Cop: Are you OK?
Randolph: I don't know. I'm kinda ****ed up in general, so it's hard to gauge.

What sort of times are you getting on your first few laps. Im getting very low 40s and was wondering how much more practice I need.
I'm doing mid 39s at the start of a run and i'm not droping into the 40s till about 15 laps into a run.

Can we have this one as a pit off the back straight? Not a lot of room to get down and stopped on the front and certainly not without slowing in the corner.

UnbounD....make sure you do not qual this week :P

Other notes.....Pit Entry will be from the back stretch, do not get caught trying to pit from another location. Of course if you are caught up in a ding in the turn, you may make your way to pit road from there.

Besides UnbounD....Riven, Big Al, Happy and Snake will all start from the back.

At this stage the committee has been notified that the listed people can not make race start this week due to work and other circumstances out of their control and will receive last place minus one position points.

Prometheus
Danman

Carnage is away on holiday but has all his gear, if he is able he will race from the home he is visiting but if it doesn't work out he will either recieve points for starting the race or last place minus one position points if he is unable to make the start.

If anyone else is not able to make the start please remember to email the committee ( nznascar_admin@simracerhq.co.nz ) with your reasons so you recieve the points. This is especially important if you are a member of a team.

Unbound, *if* we make it through the first 5-10 laps without self spinning, or hitting others that are, I reckon we'll be inside the top15 before the first pits :)

I'm expecting a few rather large dings within the first 10mins of "racing".

With all this negative talk on self spinning and such I'd just like to point out that everyone is responsible for themselves and their actions, so practice for tonight's race and don't let yourselves race unprepared and spoil someone elses race :)
6. Driver Responsibilities

Drivers MUST be aware of the race format and the track before competition. It is imperative that drivers practice for each meet before racing online. The NASCAR League organisers subscribe to the idea that SIM racing is not a spectator sport, and therefore is for the enjoyment of the drivers...and for that to happen, a driver's knowledge of a track MUST be good. Drivers should NEVER go onto a track that they have not practiced for, as the likely hood of an on track incident increases dramatically if they are on the grid and have barely turned a few laps.
Drivers need to insure their conduct on the track is beyond reproach. Intentional hitting of other drivers will not be tolerated, and will result in immediate disqualification from that round. Drivers should operate as if they were driving a real race car, and had money invested as well as other driver's lives to think about when considering an action.
While contact often happens as part of auto racing and NASCAR in particular, drivers are urged to use their brains instead of their foot. Foolhardy passing attempts, poor out braking manoeuvres, and other badly planned racing incidents will be penalized provided protests are submitted.
If an incident occurs during the start procedure or in the following 2 laps, the committee views this as a very serious incident, the driver may be penalised heavily and also be relegated to start from the rear of the field in the following race even if a protest was not submitted.
The committee reserve the right to review the server replay and hand out penalties or warning if required.
Drive safely :)

Apologies to CoolET for my botched passing move, thank god I didn't take you right out.

Good race though, on a tough track. Once again the rookies prove how consistant and careful they are.

VR race was good, apart from the final set of tyres going to understeer way too early in the run.

InSPire race wasn't so hot. Got caught in a end of lap-1 shunt when two cars in front of me spun, and I got collected. Just after my first pit-stop, my connection waivered, and I decided to play it safe and disconnect so I do not bother other drivers. Once out of the game, I found that Firefox hadn't closed fully, so should be sweet for later weeks.
