We are running the annual mid-year KSR enduro series again in 2012, similar to the series started by Viking in 2007. This time we are using the Enduracers mod. Standard skins. LMP1 or GT1 classes.

There will be one practice night and three enduro events. This year we start again with a shorter mini-enduro event, before two 2.4 hour races. Schedule is:

Tues 17th July, testing night, Brianza (Monza) and Le Mans
Tues 24th July, 2nd testing night, Le Mans 91-96 and Brianza (Monza)
Tues 31st July 1.2 hr Brianza (Monza), Italian GP layout. Nnormal points. Day
Tues 7th Aug 2.4 hr Le Mans VLM 1991-96. Double points. Day -> night -> day
Tues 14th Aug 2.4 hr Spa. Double points. Day -> twilight

Tracks
Brianza (Monza) is a default rF track

Server settings: fuel x 2, tyres x 2, damage TBC but likely 70%, no yellow flags, aids off (auto clutch availiable), standing starts

Class choice is open, but regular KSR top 10 finishers are encouraged to use LMP1 and regular KSR bottom 10 finishers are encouraged to use GT1. You can swap between classes if necessary, but can only use 1 car per class. We are using standard skins, preferably 1 driver per skin so please post skin choices below.

Enduro newbies welcome! In race threads I will make some comments about pit stops, headlight settings etc. For now just try the available cars, and pick one you think you can drive consistently for an hour or two.


Other rules / driver etiquette - the usual KSR stuff (see bottom of 1st post here: http://www.kiwisimracing.net.nz/forum/v ... =4&t=18160). These are enduro races, so should be no reason for T1 accidents. You shouldn't be trying to make up more than 1 or 2 spots on the run down to T1. Early race accidents and any protests will be reviewed, reckless driving will probably be rewarded with a stop N go penalty in the following race (or some penalty in 1st race in the next NZrFL league). If you cause an accident, you don't need to wait for the other driver(s) to recover, but it is recommended.

There were only 3 using P1 cars, perhaps you guys want to run GT1s with the rest of us?

You're only going to crash and spoil the paintwork anyway ...

But good point, if anyone wants to swap from P1 to GT1 and thinks they want an extra week to practise and wortk on setups and pit / tyre strategy please post.

I have several here to suit the Corvette, Saleen (if I recall you had a good one for the Saleen anyway) and one for the Aston.
All seem stable. bk and Gordon also have the lambo flying, so maybe they might throw you a setup if you want to run it.


I vote to move it back a week and switch to GT1.

Hi Guys,

Its been a very long time. Just wanted to ask a few questions about this series.
Is the first race tomorrow or has it been pushed back a week? And is everyone going to run GT1 cars?
If I have enough time to get a setup together, and remember how to drive after a couple of years off, im keen for a blat

I second Sin's question. Tomorrow? Or Next Tuesday?
I'm sorely tempted too. Gotta see if I can get the time though.

Sorry for the late post, we'll do 1 more prac night, then race nights to start 31st July.

I'll update top post.

Server is set for Le Mans 91-96. Other minor server setting changes have also been done (e.g. damage 70%)

Hopefully get a couple more on the start grid. Would be good to see a couple of old faces.
