NZrFL:29 BMW1 Challange Round 3 - 8th July

Night Format:
8:00pm server rolls
8.45pm Drivers Briefing on TS (no cars on the track please)
8.50pm Warm up
9.00pm Race start
3 x 20 min sprint races - Compulsory pit stops - MUST change all tires

Grid positions for Race 1 is random. Grid positions for races 2 and 3 are reversed from the last race.

Tyre Wear - Normal
Fuel Usage - Normal
Damage - 60%
Mechanical Failures - Normal
Flag Rules - Black Only
Driver Aids - Auto Clutch Only
Starts - Standing
Weight Handicaps - If the admin team see fit.


Bonus points for crossing the finish line
You must complete 75% of the race for any points.

There are ways to gain time by cutting the track here, the Crash Committee will look at this through the replay's and if they see blatant repeat offenders the Crash Committee

may impose penalties or even DQ you from that race . For simplicity, through all corners keep 2 wheels on the race track.
(The ripple strips/curbs are NOT the race track)

Tricky track...the 2 long straights are easy but the twisty bits at ether end have a nasty bite

Currently the plan is to hold round 2 and 3 next week, making the 3rd race 40 min long.

Just to confirm that there will be 1 x 20 min race and 1 x 40 min race for next Tuesday.

Still only need to change 4 tires... but will the fuel last

Unfortunately I'll have to give this Tuesday and next Tuesday a miss as I'll be in the Gold Coast along with Vladimir. I'll have to have some good results after I get back to get my 4th place in the standings back!

It wasn't so much the track....it was those damn concrete tyre bundles.

It was a very funny racing night, on the first race I forgot to turn off the damage repair, so I lost some time, later there was an accident after the corkscrew and I lost the car. On the second race, although there were too many abandons,I had great fun with Yoda it was a really close race and I have to congratulate him and Jonesy too for finishing the race, also congratulations to Bk for the victory. It was a very difficult track and really hard to pass.

Yep - I agree!! and that pit wall was a bit of a too ..... I'll try and do an export of just that rollover

Interesting night. From 3rd on the grid to last before the first corner. Then somehow l finished 3rd.

The second race was just carnage. Where did you all go? Had a great race with Gamuz, who suckered me into a basic mistake. Awesome clean driving, well done man.
