Concerns regarding Sebring being too bumpy by drivers... So pushed it further down the list for the meantime. Admins discuss it tonightCobolt wrote:Why the change?

Theres a good chance I won't be able to make tonight unfortunately Been hit with the Flu (So much for the Flu Vaccine) since Sunday and not really getting any better. Tis a shame cause the few laps I've done this seems to be a really fun flowing circuit as well.
Have fun

Re: NZrFL:30 K6 Porsche 993 Round2
A disappointing night over all. I need to practice more with a broken car
R1 – Made a good start picking up 3 places, only to be heavily hit from behind at the Old Hairpin. It sent me over the sandpit and hard into the wall. Bent the steering, this was unable to be fixed by the pit crew. Did all but one lap with a wobbly old Porsche.
R2 – Got knocked about again, but nothing too bad this time. Did worse myself at Goddards while trying to keep up with Driftking late in the race. Anyone finding a front air damn for a 997 please send to……….
Well done Hugh!

Well done Hugh congratulations mate!!!!
I had to abandon both races feeling very frustrated, couldn't practice enough and I paid the price, I hope that for the next one I can practice a little bit more, at least enough to finish the race and not being a moving chicane just pissing everybody.

Good stuff Rifty ... tried to hold you off but ended up making a slight mistake out of the previous corner and it was all over rover.
Enojyed R2 better than R1. The spins were further apart and didn't seem as many

Well, that certainly went better than last week. I was off the pace last night though, no idea why. Just tried to keep it clean and make some ground. Unfortunately had a spin in the final race with 3 laps to go which cost me two places, but otherwise I was mostly pretty happy with how that went.
Looks like there's gonna be a pretty intense battle for 3rd in the team points standings.
Cheers for the racing to all who showed up, and well done to the podium-getters.

Re: NZrFL:30 K6 Porsche 993 Round2
I think last night was the hardest night of racing I've ever done.
First race had a silly spin on lap one, pitted early and made my way back up through the field.
Second race, no force feedback, got steering damage on lap two, and a splitting headache and fever from the flu starting to catch up with me.... I think I just about collapsed after the race lol. Managed to bag points in both races though which was the main thing.
Was quite an enjoyable track, just a shame I wasnt feeling well enough to properly enjoy it. Bring on next week

Had a crap race 2. For some unknown reason everything felt a bit laggy from the first corner
That made turning into corners interesting.
Persevered until the end to get some points but decided it would be safer for others to be off the track when I was being overtaken.
Hope I didn't cause any problems.
Only ended up 6 laps down....

Re: NZrFL:30 K6 Porsche 993 Round2
Race 1 started ok for me gained a couple of spots and was running around in 4th until Vlad was on my tail. I lost my concentration and rhythm and went too deep into turn 1. After that it went downhill and I spun a couple more times to finish 8th.
Race 2 was much better. I gained 4 spots after the 1st corner carnage and managed to keep it on the track the entire race with only a few small semi slides and braking too deep. Rifty passed me for 2nd on lap 28 so I settled for third but then lucky for me he spun with only 2 laps to go so I managed to equal my best ever finish so far!
I still don't know how we didn't touch when you passed me around the outside into turn 1 Rifty!! Had the fronts fully locked up!

Re: NZrFL:30 K6 Porsche 993 Round2
Enjoyed the racing, fellas.
Was struggling with the car in terms of lap times, but once the race got underway I noticed my lack of 100% throttle.
When I was close to other racers it was obvious to me that I was losing on the straights & it was almost impossible to keep up even with the draft.
Anyway, I pushed as hard as I could to try to make up for it & came home with a 3rd & a 4th which I'm more than happy with.
