Race Night Format:
8:00pm server rolls
8.45pm Open Quailfying
9.00pm Top Five Shootout (no cars on the track no talk on Ts please) one out lap, one flying lap. Grab another chance at poll..
9.08pm Drivers Briefing on TS (no cars on the track please)
9.10pm Race Start

1 x 20 min sprint race -Pits Open - Compulsory Drive Through - Must be served by the 5min warning, if you incur damage and pit to repair, this will count as your drive through

1 x 40 min Feature race -Pits Open - You will need fuel and tyres. Grid assigned from finishing positions of Race 1

Both races have a 70% DNF threshold - no points if you don't get to that race percentage - repair your car, get your points and get seat time
Both races have cross the finish line bonuses - repair your car and finish for guaranteed points

Race rules as per the KSR Race Rule Thread - http://www.kiwisimracing.net.nz/forum/v ... 49&t=18354

Crossing The Finish Line
When crossing the finish line, crashing your car is not acceptable and will not be tolerated any further.
Driver's are still racing and racing for position, crashing can cause frame hits for people and it is unfair to disrupt their racing.
Pull over off the track and Esc.. or drive back to the pits.. its just common courtesy.
Breaking this rule will result in points loss.

Race Settings:
Tyre Wear - Normal
Fuel Usage -Normal
Damage - 80%
Mechanical Failures - Normal
Flag Rules - Black Only
Driver Aids - Auto Clutch Only
Starts - Standing
Weight Handicaps - May be added if the race admin deems it necessary

The Second Most Challenging Track In The League...Don't Miss your Braking Marks( Not always the Brake markers).
Don't Cut The Chicane...Slow the %^% Down..or pay..

UPDATE
Open the zip..at the first level grab the K6_Nurburg folder and drop it into your locations folder where you installed the original trackpack.( allow overwrite all)
Once installed you will have to wait until Riven restarts the server.

As the track isn't up on the server I can't see what sort of times others are doing for their laps. Is anyone able to post a rough good lap time so I can work out how far back I am? I presume it's under 2mins.

Track will be up, hopefully, on Saturday. Riven is back then and has to restart the server.

My time is in the 2.01.xx but I'm sure a few have gone sub 2 min.

The key here is to stay on track and not spin

Had another shocker.

Started a new job this week & didn't get to see the forum post about wrecking cars afterwards.
I was angry at the BP porsche & wrecked it... sorry if it glitched anyone.

Congratulations Hugh!!! Qualy and both races!!! _b
Same old crappy race for me full of mistakes as usual, the only thing I did good was moving out of the way of the fast guys.

Not too often you see that happen eh Rifty!! you were still faster than everybody else =P.. i couldnt keep my car on the track in some places, kept catching the grass and losing my momentum.. was a fun awesome track though.. wish i was fast enough to keep up!! well done Hugh
