Again the last race had some great battles with Yoda taking 2nd on the last couple of corners. Good stuff!

1st race was good, held on enough to earn a 5th, best finish yet
2nd race had a spin and copped a drive through so not quite so good.
Last race I spun again int he same place, same reason, avoided the drive thru and then while chasing down Yoda, lost it at RH kink, hit a tire and landed on the lid, Marshalls did a great job of righting me but faced me the wrong way. No warning - DNF
On a brighter note I can see my pace is getting better so that's encouraging.

Have to say this has been one cool series so far. Even with the low numbers last night the racing was good. It is very close. It is certainly aggressive, but not in a dumb arse way. Leave the slightest gap, and half the field pours through.

Re: NZrFL:31 KSRetro Round4 - Taupo
After a really busy couple of weeks I was just too knackered to race on Tuesday, and didn't want to effect anyone else's race.
On a positive/ exciting note I bought a new car this week. I have officially embraced middle age and my impending 50th by buying a Toyota Aurion with wood dash and Leather interior. Still debating weather to get the rear spoiler for it. I suppose next I'll start dreaming of a new Hyundai or Honda. Isn't that the official sign of being an old barstard?
Now I need to flick a knackered... um I mean present for sale a lovely Ford Falcon Wagon with 2 careful owners.
In other news a new track on its way soon too...
