Is it actually possible to "sign up now" (and if it is, how do I do it?), or is that simply misleading advertising? :-)

Re: NZrFL:32 Europa Fwd Challenge
I haven't had time to set the points site up for registrations, real life does get in the way now and then of doing things for KSR in my very limited spare time Kerry.
There is plenty of time before the league starts.

Re: NZrFL:32 Europa Fwd Challenge
No worries at all. I'm a big fan of real life myself. It's just that it's my first time doing this, and I wanted to make sure I hadn't missed something.Riftcreator wrote:I haven't had time to set the points site up for registrations, real life does get in the way now and then of doing things for KSR in my very limited spare time Kerry.

I'm looking forward to the track list. The more practice I can get, the less I look like a fool :-)
Thanks for setting this up!

Re: NZrFL:32 Europa Fwd Challenge
I've probably just missed it somewhere but when is the first race? And how many races in the series?
Oh and I seem to be getting very hot front tyres when running the default setup, is that just my over aggressive driving or is there a setup change I can make to reduce the temps?
The cars look like they are a lot of fun to drive.

Clearly you are over driving the car. I would recommend driving slower, staying 2nd or 3rd gear at the most. Keep it below 88.8 kms and you should be fine

The slower I go the more times you'll have to risk crashing as you pass me.

It's all so tantalisingly close!
Which specific flavour of Donington should I be practicing on?
http://www.rfactorcentral.com/detail.cf ... ngton%20TL
http://www.rfactorcentral.com/detail.cf ... n%20(GTR2)
http://www.rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?ID=Donington
... something else?
I think some of you may be underestimating the amount of practice I need -- and I'm away next weekend :-(

Some questions from the newbie....
Any chance of a clarification on what happens at "8:00pm server rolls". Is this a practice session? What happens between 8:00 and 8:45?
Is a compulsory Drivethru? Simply driving through the pits?
What *is* the speed limit in the pits?
Thank you!
Kerry

Yup.Is a compulsory Drivethru? Simply driving through the pits?
Varies track to track, it'll tell you when you leave your garage IIRC. Don't speed in the pitlane during race or you'll get a stop/go (and definitely don't speed when serving your stop/go! :P)What *is* the speed limit in the pits?

Friendly reminder guys, please cut the F-Bomb swearing. I know we're all adults, but some of use use speakers during racing and have kids in the house.

Re: NZrFL:32 Europa Fwd Challenge
Yep I second all that Gordon.
Really enjoyed the racing in this series, with some quali sessions only a few tenths covering a large group!
Also managed my first ever win and pole and then got my second win in the final race of the season!
Looking forward to the next series.

Id like to thank Hugh for the work he put into the mod, organising skins etc, and of course retiring the lead halfway through the series, was a big help!
And thanks to everyone else that helped out behind the scenes
Good racing with the guys that stuck it out to the end, I hope I helped in someway with setups etc with a few of ya's, always happy to help out with driving, lines, setup etc if you want to ask.
Cheers.
