This track has caused rFactor to fail for me at least 4 times.
"Fail" means:
* Image locks up. Sounds continue. Screen goes black. Games restores (with me in a wall :-)
* Image locks up. Sounds continue. rFactor minimized and unavailable for restore
I think rFactor itself crashed once too.
The most recent time I tried to get out by clicking on the top-right 'Exit' button which was still active, even though I couldn't actually see the rFactor UI (I was looking at the desktop). On this occasion I managed to see a 'gMotor 2 Error":
"Error loading texture roada for material ROADSDA". Followed by
"Error loading global material ROADSDA" (twice)"
Cheers
Kerry
Don't know if it helps. Don't know if it's my install problem or a mildly buggy track.

Re: Error loading texture roada for material ROADSDA
A few things I'd try would be:
-Delete the track and then reinstall it
-Update video drivers.
-In rFactor Config change the Shader Level. I'm running DX9.
Just do one thing at a time so you know what fixed it.

The other option is to run the textures at full in game.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. No problems since updating video card drivers and deleting the HAT file.BK wrote:The other option is to run the textures at full in game.
