NZrFL:33 McLaren Challenge Round 2
Motor racing on Phillip Island began in 1928 with the running of the 100 Miles Road Race, an event which has since become known as the first Australian Grand Prix. It utilised a high speed rectangle of local closed-off public roads with four similar right hand corners.
In 1951, a group of six local businessmen decided to build a new track. About 2 km away from the original circuit, it still bears the corner name signs of the original circuit. As the piece of available land was on the edge of the coast, the track is known for its steep grades – the highest 57 metres – which caused cost overruns and delays in track opening. The new track was opened in 1956 Wikipedia

-The pit exit feeds directly onto the racing line. It is absolutely crucial that drivers communicate their pit exits, either via Teamspeak or in-game chat. If you are driving past the pit exit and a car is leaving the pits you must leave a car's width on the circuit until you are past the car exiting the pits.
-Although pit stops are not mandatory, you will almost certainly need to stop for fuel at some point in Race 2.

Sadly I can't compete in this round. Ironically, I will be in Melbourne, but don't think I'll be able to get to Phillip Island :-(

The last few laps of the second race look like they were exciting. I say this based on coloured lines on a graph at the points site. Apparently that's what passes for entertainment for me at the moment.
Looking forward to next week when I can participate again.
