GT3 Endurance @ Bathurst

Mount Panorama, Motor Racing Circuit Bathurst (also known as Wahluu by the Wiradjuri people, or often simply Bathurst) is a motor racing track located in Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia. It is the home of the Bathurst 12 Hour motor race, held each February, and the Bathurst 1000 motor race, held each October. The track is 6.213 km (4 mi) long, and is technically a street circuit, as the circuit is a public road when no racing events are being run, and there are many residences which can only be accessed from the circuit.

The track is an unusual design by modern standards, with a 174-metre (570-foot) vertical difference between its highest and lowest points, and grades as steep as 1:6.13. From the start-finish line, the track can be viewed in three sections; the short pit straight and then a tight left turn into the long, steep Mountain straight; the tight, narrow section across the top of the mountain itself; and then the long, downhill section of Conrod Straight, with the very fast Chase and the turn back onto pit straight to complete the lap. Driver Notes:
- Choose your car carefully. They are all roughly the same pace, but each of the cars will have different characteristics, and different strengths and weaknesses. It is most important you choose a car you feel comfortable driving for the full 80 minutes.
- On pit exit stay inside the cones.
- An endurance race is not won on the first lap, but can be lost. Make sure to drive sensibly into turn 1.
- Above all, have fun!

For anyone who's on the fence about this one, I really recommend you sign up. There's a car out there that will suit your style, and they are all really great vehicles for this track. If you're concerned that there's not enough people to make it worthwhile, sign up anyway. If a few of you think like that and don't sign-up, then you'd never know how many actually want to.

It's definitely not too late _b

Attention All Drivers

There is a patch for the Endurance Pack here: https://www.mediafire.com/?5etyazlzyiy9b9l

You will need to download this to join the server. It fixes an issue where you couldn't plan your fuel in advance. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks for the racing. It was fun.
I was on track to get 2nd but stuffed the first pit stop by leaving damage on, then had to do a splash n dash for fuel.
Clipped a wall on the second to last lap which popped a tire.
Top 5 and first Corvette home... :larf:

I was expecting to be more competitive but something changed in my force feedback between the practice and the race. ;(
Didn't notice till I got some clear air in the 3rd lap when on the limit the steering got the wobbles 8o
Took me a few laps and a bit of panel damage to get use to it.

Managed to get 4th though, even after having to do a splash and dash 2 laps before the end.
Guess at least I finished :B
