All drivers are required to sign up to the points site.
Any issues signing up, post here.

Use the Name you will be racing as (Check this in game and make sure it matches as I think rF2 uses your steam name) and the number off the vehicle you have reserved to use.

Race schedule set, and race times in place.
Opening post updated.

Note: Racing/Qualifying starts 30mins earlier than previous leagues.

Official practice tonight from 8:30pm.

We'll run through a few race starts etc. A good time to make sure you have everything sorted before race night.

Don't forget to sign up to the points site

There is also a teams championship up for grabs.
So hook up with someone and make a team on the points site. If you're unsure how to do it, just ask.

Anyone else getting frequent "Rfactor.exe has stopping working" messages?

24th and round One is just a few days away, make sure you have everything sorted. IE: Connect to the server and make sure it works, and get signed up on the points site.

Gutting.

I had that just before Christmas, was a right pain, but thankfully it wasn't the system drive.

So after my huge mid-race freezes last Tuesday, I rebooted and my 2TB HDD containing my entire steam library had vanished. Whaddaya know, just like MadaMaoriJR, it was failing. :ffs: After 37 reboots, 1 can of Red Bull and 1 coffee, I finally finished copying all the important stuff off the drive (Mrs. Zimmie's work files, kids photos etc) onto another one at 4am. Just in the process of reinstalling rFactor 2 onto my OS SSD now so should be all good come Tuesday. Fun, fun!!

Well, that's our first rF2 league done, and apart from a couple of teething issues (to be expected with a new sim) everything went well overall.

The Simtek GT3 mod I feel is fantastic, it responds well to setup changes and there was a pretty good balance between the cars considering thier major differences. It's a mod we can look at again in the future if needed, and once a few bug fixes and updates are done. Perhaps it was a little to "extreme" for our first rF2 league? so the next mod used should be something to bring us all closer together and provide some close racing without a steep learning curve.
Bull is sorting this out, so keep an eye out.

Congrats to Matt for taking out the championship, and well done Murphy for securing 3rd place.
Thanks to Riven for getting the rF2 server setup for us to race on, and to Inspire for providing us with a stable, fast and reliable connection and for hosting the server for us.

Lastly, thanks to the guys who show up and race _b I really enjoy racing with you all. Bring on the next league!! :D

ps. Got me that pie sorted yet Growler ;p
