NZrFL:42 British Touring Car Championship
Its been a long time coming, but it is here!
Introducing to you all - the Bush Enteprises PC's & Repair British Touring Car Championship - Powered by Inspire Net
This is going to be our biggest rFactor 2 League yet!
With a big thanks to our series sponsor, we have 3x $100 Vouchers lined up for all drivers in the series to be eligible for -
1x Prize will be random drawn to any driver who has competed in at least 6 of 8 rounds.
1x Prize will be awarded to the "Most Improved Driver" of the series.
1x Prize will be awarded to the "Driver Of The Series" - as chosen by admin (admin excluded from choosing themselves!)
On top of this, we are also arranging trophies for the top 3 drivers of the series!
So, the important stuff:
Details:
Car: BTCC - As the current version on Steam workshop is not compatible with DirectX 11, we have been very fortunate in the mod creator/s over at SFRL early access to the updated mod - they have asked us to keep this private, so mod links will be distributed to drivers once they are registered to this series.
Tracks: We will be following the 2017 BTCC Calendar (where able), for this series. Starting at Brands Hatch Indy, we will race through to iconic british tracks such as Donington and Oulton Park, through to some of the local tracks like Thruxton and Croft before heading back to finish off at Silverstone, and the finale Brands Hatch Grand Prix
Schedule:
[20/06] Official Practise
[27/06] Round 1 - Brands Hatch Indy
[04/07] Round 2 - Donington Park - National Circuit
[11/07] Round 3 - Thruxton
[18/07] Round 4 - Oulton Park - Island Circuit
[25/07] Round 5 - Croft
[01/08] Round 6 - Snetterton
[08/08] Round 7 - Silverstone - National Circuit
[15/08] Round 8 - Brands Hatch Grand Prix

BTCC Mod: Please register your interest in this thread, and a PM containing links and installation instructions will be sent to you.

Interesting. Might clear the cobwebs off the wheel for this. P.M please?
May need some help to get rF2 mods working (vanilla works OK but got errors with mods when I tried earlier this year).

Not sure if I'll make the 1st round as we are moving house (to the Tron ), moving in next weekend so hopefully up & running by tuesday. Will miss practice night next week though as cockpit is being packed up today.

Count me in. Sounds great!
Awesome to see that 'Bush Enteprises' is a real company, with real spelling; I thought it was Bull being a bit rude :-)

Based on testing tonight, we have revised racelengths to 15 minutes per race. We will evaluate the results from Round 1 and adjust if required.

Re: NZrFL:42 British Touring Car Championship
Getting somewhere, thanks Bull.
Managed to change my in-game name (was trickier than is needed to be).
Getting some PC lockups when ALT-TABbing to browser - are you others running in windowed mode? Current solution is to remember not to ALT-TAB.
Can keep the car on the tarmac for a few laps, but not fast (not that I expected to be ...).
Any useful hints on rF2 for someone coming from rF1?
